Bitcoin The Harsh Truth That Has Been Hidden For Too Long.

One secret has been held from us for too long

January 9th 2009, 30,000 lines of code were released. 11 years later those lines of code are a vast decentralized empire traded all over the world. Inherently untraceable for anyone to access. Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency with no intrinsic value, is now worth over $35,000. Establishing itself as a viable asset for investors. Mystery still surrounds the currency, an unknown truth has been lying in front of us for too long.

Satoshi Nakamoto created this revolution in the wake of the 2008 Market crash. February 2009 Nakamoto wrote on a forum saying,

"the root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work. the central banks must be trusted to not debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve. We have to trust them with our privacy, trust them not to let identity thieves drain our accounts."

Nakamoto is speculated to be libertarian and has a deep-rooted hatred for the corrupt rich people and politicians. No proof of these statements has arisen.

A $300 million pizza

Pizza the first item to be purchased by Bitcoin, 10,000 to be exact. This is one of only a few legitimate transactions for an item bought by bitcoin. In February 2011 significant changes started to occur on Bitcoins road to success. The illicit marketplace silk road introduced bitcoin as its main currency, a dark day for bitcoin, it is untraceable. Thus a no brainer if you want to buy illegal items. Not only a dark day for the currency but also its founder.

23 April 2011 Nakamoto sent an email to a core bitcoin developer Mike Hearn, the content of the email was disturbing. Nakamoto wrote,

" I've moved on to other things… the future of bitcoin is in safe hands" he also included writings on the workings of bitcoin.

this is one of the last statements made by the elusive Satoshi Nakamoto.

Who The Hell Is Satoshi Nakamoto

If you know anything about bitcoin. This pseudonym is an all to a familiar sight. What's only goal is to protect the creator, either a person or group. 13 people accused of being the creator, all deny this claim. Handpicking the most promising ones for you to give you as much insight as possible

Dorian S Nakamoto

Isn't that him??? well no it's not, Dorian is a 72-year-old man who lives with his mum in sunny California. In 2014 Newsweek released an article pinning him as the creator of bitcoin. Due to his career in engineering. Dorian responded by saying that he had only heard of bitcoin weeks earlier. 2 weeks later after the first incident, he appeared on news week saying

"I did not create, invent or otherwise work on bitcoin"

you would think this is where the story ends but no Dorian's claim of innocence was corroborated. by the one and only Nakamoto. his post on a forum stated

"I am not Dorian Nakamoto"

this is the end of the speculation shrouding the old man. Many still believe he is Nakamoto despite his denial.

Hal Finney

A computer scientist by day, cryptocurrency genius by night. In the early days of Bitcoin, he was and still is a prominent figure. When dealing with Nakamoto, he thought he was talking to a young Japanese man. Communicating only through email and forums. Finney offered to mine the first Bitcoins from block 70, he proceeded to do so. Unfortunately, Finney died in 2014. Giving us no further information on Nakamoto or who they are.

Finney was a promising lead to solve the mystery. He could have been Nakamoto. But that question will never be answered. Well according to the next man claiming to be Nakamoto I would be wrong by saying that.

Craig Wright

Entrepreneur and computer scientist. the perfect match for the creation of such caliber, that's what he wants you to believe. In 2016 Craig claimed to be the creator of Bitcoin. Along with this claim he produced code that is disputed proof of creation. Prominent Bitcoin developer Gavin Andersen further approved of Craig Wright's claim. Saying he was "98% certain".

The media and the crypto community were quick to disagree with weight claims due to skepticism. His claims allegedly caught the eye of the FBI. Wright was quick to apologize. He later released a statement

"I believed that I could put the years of anonymity and hiding behind me. But, as the events of this week, unfolded and I prepared to publish proof of access to the earliest keys, I broke. I do not have the courage"

we do not know for certain if he possesses such keys or if he even owns bitcoins. All we know is that it caused a media storm. It was most likely a Pr stunt gone wrong.

Nick Szabo

The most promising out of the 13. A secretive crypto expert who was fundamental to the development of Bitcoin. In 2014, linguistic researchers studied Nakamoto's writing. These studies provided undisputable results. British colloquialisms and American spelling were found in his writing. Not only that the researchers released a statement saying,

"the number of linguistic similarities between szabos writing and the bitcoin whitepaper is uncanny"

the only evidential proof to pin Nakamoto to someone. Shortly after these findings, a new york times article was published. Pegging Szabo as the creator. In a response, Szabo firmly denied it by tweeting

"not satoshi, but thank you"

charmed yet reserved, not revealing anything, he has only stated denial. So that is what we must believe. Completely ignore the big red flashing light that is the linguistic report.

Stone Cold Proof

The proof is key. The only way for certain we will know of the creator is by a couple of factors. For one the creator will have a PGP key. It is a unique encryption program associated with a username. Undeniable proof of ownership if you were Nakamoto. The person or persons behind Nakamoto will have amassed a fortune of Bitcoin. Over a million processed by Nakamoto. That is billions created out of 30,000 lines of code.

A genius in the hiding.

Nakamoto has excellent reasons to stay anonymous. Many creators of cryptocurrency have faced legal problems. 1998 Bernard Von Nothaus created a currency called liberty dollars, causing him to be charged with 6 months of house arrest and 3 years probation. Due to violating federal law. This is why to keep anonymity. Able to enjoy their vast wealth in privacy is a dream for many. But only a few enjoy it.

Who isn't Nakamoto?

We should all be asking this. The creator of Bitcoin is unlikely to be a single person due to the creation itself. It is a group of people that are behind such innovation. It has to be. are you Nakamoto? Will Nakamoto reveal themselves? The future is the answer to this question.
