An Experience With Btc Phishing And Recovery

I think everyone is bound to encounter the bitter taste of misfortune but the irony of it is that we aren't furnished with the ideas or when, where and how. It just happens, usually out of the blues, like a lurking reckoning of some sorts.

Well here is mine. But I'm not going to kick-start with all guns blazing, I mean the deed has been done. So it will be helpful or wise that I explain a bit coherently.

All the Btc I had to my name, every last digit got cleanly wiped, if not neatly in February 2020. Yes, how did it happen? Some parts of me still question the event a bit. So let's get to that.

I'm fond of checking my wallet regularly. That's my life's investment in there, it will be foolhardy not to. I noticed unfamiliar transactions that sent my bitcoins in batches to some address back in February.

I was in disbelief for a couple of minutes; I logged in, logged out, and refreshed the page for a hundredth time. Then the ugly feeling of despair, hopelessness, pain and agony began to creep up from my stomach, squeezing through as it crawled up my gullet. I couldn't comprehend that my life savings vanished without a clue. I was already sinking fast without trace. I could barely sleep or eat for days, I couldn't even talk to anyone, didn't know how to bring myself to terms with the unfolding reality.

For days I still kept checking my wallet hoping that maybe it's a glitch, I tried to form some semblance of hope for my frail mind to hold on to. But it was true, unfortunately that the deed was real.

The coins I had were mined in 2017 if I remember correctly. I was actually introduced by a friend who believes crypto trading was and will be the next big thing, so I did a couple of research and I was convinced of this very truth, so I put everything I had in. My system has been crying for a better use than surfing the web aimlessly or netflixing.

Soon after, I started talking to my coworkers about my new found investment and preaching how profitable it is, some remained skeptical, a few joined the bandwagon. I was beginning to feel like a mentor.

It was a real disgust when I lost my coins. I hoped one day I'll get to split them between my daughter and son when they'll be old enough to appreciate technology.

The constant of that meant I couldn't give up, at least I had to try all means possible if I could get something back. I spoke to my friend who introduced me, I briefed him what happened to me. He was extremely shocked and alarmed. He asked series of question about my security and if I've been aware of any malware or something fishy previously, I said no, I don't think I can remember any of such.

He decided we report the matter to security agencies, that we did but we waited and waited yet there was no favourable response.

I had to warn my coworkers about what had happened so they should get extra security and be careful, well that was my luck! How? One of them met me privately, saying her cousin had a similar experience a while back and got referred to shield forensics who are experts in binary options, crypto currencies recovery scams and she was able to get back her investment. She asked if I'll be interested in giving it a try and I said you really don't have to ask that, I need to try everything possible. https://shieldforensics.com/blog/

I got in touch with the experts at shield forensics, I gave all details necessary to facilitate the process and In a couple of weeks I was really grateful and elated when I was contacted by the funds recovery unit. I am happy I didn't give up trying to get my investment back. And now I make sure my system is secured in the best way possible because I now devote a lot of time reading more on security, vigilance is the key.

I thought I was about to be stuck with thousands of pounds worth of BTC on my laptop because I forgot my password after I wasted 2 BTC in a scam investment site but [email protected] was able to unlock it for me in under 12 hours. He also went ahead to recover the 2 BTC with accumulated ROI from the scammer’s wallet. It could not have been a better service. Huge relief is an understatement! I would recommend him to all my friends or whoever is in a similar situation. 5+ Stars from me.
