Alien Nation Currency

Where did you come from, Where did you go? Where did you come from Satoshi Nakamoto?

There are very few things in this world that remain mysterious with today's research and scientific standards. Even the Bermuda Triangle has lost some of its mystique in recent years. However, how can one little coin appear from nowhere and disrupt everything we have ever known?

From the beginning of human history, we have been fascinated by monuments and items that have unknown origins. Easter Island, for example, presents one of the biggest mysteries to humankind. Much like Easter Island, Bitcoin (BTC) appeared from out of the blue with an unknown creator. While there are several hundred conspiracy theories that surround the creation of the mysterious cryptocurrency, one thing is for sure, we know it has something to do with a Satoshi Nakamoto.

In a world with nearly 8 billion people, you would think that somebody with a name like Satoshi Nakamoto would be relatively easy to pinpoint. Nevertheless, the only thing that has come from that name is a million-dollar industry and a few mistaken identities. With an industry that is poised to change economies worldwide, most people would want to be at the forefront of such an operation. However, Nakamoto has gone dark and remains unknown to the world.

So, what if it wasn't the creation of a simple human brain? What if there was some otherworldly help? Now I am not the one for alien conspiracy theories, but the technology behind Bitcoin was complex for 2008. It wouldn't be the first human-made creation attributed to Aliens. Maybe aliens needed a way to cripple our economies so they could gain access to our networks and control us or prepare us for an eventual overtaking. But that's pretty far-fetched even for today's conspiracy theories.

Maybe Nakamoto was a pseudonym of an unknown group of people working undercover for a significant government faction, much like the NSA or CIA. How could some unknown individual create a way to mine cryptocurrency on a shoestring budget, become a possible billionaire, and remain completely anonymous? There are so many questions revolving around the creation of the first significant cryptocurrency that it's becoming the modern-day Bermuda Triangle. For all we know, it could have been Tony Stark, Elon Musk, or Bigfoot that created this new enterprise. Stranger things have happened; the stock market was just upset by a group of renegade Redditors!

Wherever Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared to and whatever his motives were, we have to admit that Bitcoin has changed the game in world currencies. Bitcoin can be traded on the stock market, used as currency on the black market, transferred without the use of banks, and help consumers remain entirely anonymous.

Bitcoin's past has been rocky, and its future is uncertain. If the power system were ever to fail or some apocalyptic scenario were ever to occur, the crypto-currency would most likely falter. There is also the problem of running out of bitcoin. Bitcoin is mined through computers, and as of right now that are around 21 million bitcoins available for mining, and every four years, a block of bitcoin is reduced by nearly 50%. Eventually, we will run out of the Bitcoin supply. Nakamoto may have created a currency that could be used globally, but with a finite source that is unlikely.

There is a genius mind behind the invention of the cryptocurrency and while Nakamoto may not have been the first to conjure the idea, he was the first to make it happen on a global scale.

Until Satoshi Nakamoto climbs out of whatever hole he is hiding in, we may never know the true origins of Bitcoin. Whether he's part of the global elite, from the dark underbelly of the internet, or even part of the lizard people, I am sure he's laughing at civilization and our obsession with Bitcoin. Maybe Bitcoin will continue to change the world and unite us under one economy, or it just might destroy everything we know. Until then, only Satoshi Nakamoto will know.
