Including a watch with a black dial and an aluminum ring bezel, and the other watch with a navy blue dial and a blue aluminum ring. Both watches retain the color display function of the decompression stop time of the original version, and add the function of two time zones and a bezel displaying the world time, providing nautical explorers with a brand new vision and choice.

The new watch uses the latest cutting-edge watchmaking technology, including Super-LumiNova®, a glassbox-style sapphire crystal, the formidable Mido Calibre 80 with Nivachron™ balance-spring and GMT function, dual time zone display function as well an easy change additional strap. These designs further improves the functionality and practicality of the watch.

In terms of appearance design, the new watch is particularly attractive. The polished Mido logo on the dial is very conspicuous, and the rainbow circle adds a bright and lively atmosphere to it. The scale markers and dots are adopted with Super-LumiNova® natural color luminous coating to ensure that the time can be read clearly at night or in insufficient light conditions. The watch is equipped with a date window at 3 o'clock position. The spiraled back also features a polished starfish graphic.

In order to pay tribute to the Ocean Star Decompression Timer with rainbow-schemed dial born in the 1960s. There are four concentric coloured rings in the dial of the brand new watch, from the centre: yellow, green, pink and blue, each ring corresponds to a dive depth. The rotating bezel is equipped with a blue aluminum ring and uses silver dots to mark the time zones of major cities around the world. The black dial model is equipped with an aluminum ring bezel, and its decompression level is indicated by the gradation of 4 rainbow rings from yellow to orange.

Superior diving performance is also essential. The water resistance of this watch can reach 200 meters, and the screw-down crown and case design can effectively prevent water from entering the watch. The diameter of this watch is 40.5mm, and it uses a satin-polished stainless steel case to increase its durability. In addition, this watch is bundled with two straps in total, a navy blue textured rubber strap inspired by the 1960s, and a satin-brushed stainless steel Milanese braided bracelet. Whichever of the two straps you enjoy more, you can quickly switch between them with ease thanks to quick release spring bars anyone can master.

As the core of the watch, this new watch model uses the Caliber 80 automatic movement from Mido, and is equipped with a Nivachron™ balance-spring, which can effectively reduce the effect of magnetic fields on travel time, while offering great resistance to shocks and increase the durability. At the same time, the power reservation can reach 80 hours, providing the wearer with sufficient power reserve.

In short, Mido newly launched two special editions of the Ocean Star Rainbow Ring watch, which integrates prominent design, high technology, and superb watchmaking technology. Its classic vintage appearance design, unique color display of decompression stop time and dual time zone display function provide more choices for travelers, explorers and diving enthusiasts.
