One Color Fashion
There are so many fashion trends out in the world—they're even bringing back the old 90s outfits, which I'm not mad about. There are lot of people out in the world that stick with what they like, they don't want to go beyond the horizon and find something new, which is totally okay because I'm one of those people. I feel most comfortable wearing black. Anything that is black, I love. This color to me is embracing and bad ass. The color black can work with any color as well, it is so easy to find clothes to wear when you have black. Black is one of my favorite colors, I have a lot of black clothing. Black clothing can be trendy too, you just have to know how to wear it and how to rock it. It's what looks good on me and makes me feel confident. Everyone has their own fashion trend, if they like what their wearing and feel good then who are you to judge. One of my favorite "going out" outfits is wearing leather. Leather leggings and leather crop top, following with a small leather jacket hanging off one shoulder. Also wearing open toed black heals. Now that's a look! Black is very appealing, t's suppose to be sexy. Black clothing is everywhere, it is not hard to find black clothes. I know some colors are hard to find, like that really mustard yellow color. Black is easy, it can be paired with anything. You will always have a hot new look when you got black. When you have the right top, shoes, and right attitude, it pulls the whole black look together and makes you one attractive human being. So if you are looking for a change with your black clothing, I have some outfit ideas that could help you look even more fabulous.
How To Look Designer on a Budget
Being a college student, I'm as stereotypical as they come - broke as hell. But even before pursuing my higher education (*sarcastic hair flip*), I have always pinched pennies. Growing up with money on my mind but also a massive love of fashion, I had to learn how to make a dollar go a long way. There are a few things that I’ve found over the years that I believe might be worth sharing.
Barbie on a Budget
In a world with 7 billion people, we all seek our own identity. Brands are now able to market and research fashion in order to set trends and make bold statements. With so many brands accumulating and surfacing every corner, it is hard to find one that meets your needs. To add to your worries, budget, location, and quality impact your shopping experience. It is hard to deny the universal truth that we live in a capitalist consumer-driven economy. Our society emphasizes and judges individuals through the way one identifies oneself through fashion; thus, making the cost of confidence expensive. However, there is a solution to the stress of shopping. For this reason, I must ask, do you crave to have a perfect style that everyone desires? Well, what’s stopping you! Money is no longer a worry knowing a few online shops and hacks you could apply to your wardrobe.

My friends and family know not to even ask, "Where'd you get your outfit?" because my answer is always... the thrift store! Just know that 99% of the time, I'm wearing at least one piece of thrifted clothing or accessory. I get asked all the time how I snag good finds, so I put together a list of tips that I follow in order to add some cute/cheap clothes to my wardrobe and my eBay page!

The Art of Thrift-Shopping
Patience, Patience, Patience The first tip I can give is to go into your thrifting adventure with an open mind, and with the patience of a zen Buddha. Thrifting has a lot of misses, many more misses than hits if we are being honest. You probably won't find that amazing pair of Miu Miu heels in your size at the first Goodwill you step into. You probably won't find any Miu Miu at any Goodwill, like, ever. That being said once in a while you will find that "I can't believe this is $12.00" hidden treasure, and it will make everything worth it.

Even though Poshmark has gone far beyond what any other fashion app has succeeded in doing as both a thrift app as well as wholesale distribution, there are some unmistakable discrepancies that I’ve noticed as both buyer and seller. I’m not dedicating this entire blog to bashing the platform, of course, because like I said, it’s a very unique and even addictive app. If you’ve not opted to boycott the fashion app yet and still deciding whether or not to give it spin, I should probably tell you… there’s a problem with Posh.

Fall is officially here, which means it's time to add a little spice into your wardrobe and life. For me, fall usually means bonfires, hoodies, sweaters, leaves, rain, thunderstorms, Halloween, and much colder temperatures, however, this is my first fall that I will not be experiencing many of these seasonal aspects that help to make it the greatest time of the year. Fall has always been my favorite season specifically because of the many different commodities I have listed above. I am originally from the Midwest (Chicago) went to college at UMichigan but have since relocated to Los Angeles. From what I have seen thus far, fall is a little different here on the West Coast (It's September 26th and it's 94 degrees outside right now, which would be unheard of if I was back in the Midwest). I am trying to adjust but I must admit that I am missing those chillier days and the breathtaking colors of the changing leaves. Nevertheless, I will persist. Here are a few items that I am loving as I transition from a Midwest fall to a West Coast fall:
Ashley ZychPublished 6 years ago in Styled10 Stores Every Curvy Girl Will Love
The fashion industry has historically catered most significantly to a very limited and unrealistic set of sizes and proportions, often leaving curvy women with tragically few options. Luckily, women everywhere have begun making their voices heard, and dedicated themselves to giving women of all shapes and sizes the ability to develop and express their own sense of fashion. Here are some of the wonderful stores every curvy girl will love that understand that high fashion does not belong exclusively to size 2s.

For some, buying clothes second-hand may be second nature, but for others, it may even make them a bit wary and uncomfortable, especially if they have never thrifted before. A common misconception is that thrift shops only sell used, out-of-style clothing or run-down appliances and furniture. That isn't always true. If you look closely, you can often find items that still have the original tags or that are very gently used brand-names. My goal here is to share just a little bit of advice on what to look out for and how to save some extra money while thrifting.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I believe that the best thing that has ever happened to fashion is the rise of online shopping.

I buy clothes all the time—really, all the time. Every other week I have a new delivery, and it's terrible, but... I can't help it. So, over the time since I got a bank account and started this obsession, I've learned where I should and shouldn't buy from.
