Nothing makes you feel better than looking good and being confident in yourself. You may be going through a tough time, or just want to recover from some bad luck. Whatever the case may be, some cities are more equipped than others to make you feel like your best self.

The fashion brand compiled their own proprietary, in-depth study to determine which 100 largest U.S. cities are the best for glow-ups. We collected data using a variety of factors and weighted them according to their impact on the overall glow-up experience. Individual factor scores were then added together to give each city its final score from 0-100. Higher scores indicate which cities are the best for glow-ups.

Below are the top three best cities for a body, mind, and spirit ‘glow up.’ Read on to find out!

#1 New York, NY

Score: 98.56

According to the study, New York City is the place to be if you want to achieve your best self. New York City has the resources and expertise needed to turn it all around, with an abundance of healthy restaurants and beauty studios. If you're looking to tone up or lose weight and improve your skin, NYC has it covered.

#2 Los Angeles, CA

Score: 96.63

Los Angeles got the most votes for its low-key atmosphere and beautiful weather. The city is home to all of our favorite celebs and movie stars, but it's also high-key known for its gorgeous beaches and chic shopping malls. Not surprisingly, LA has some of the country's best healthy restaurants for clean eating.

#3 Chicago, IL

Score: 93.45

Ready for a total Chicago makeover? The Windy City came in third on the list of the best cities across the country to cop a total makeover. If serving looks is scheduled on your glow-up calendar, Chicago is home to many renowned shopping districts, like State Street and the Magnificent Mile. Go ahead and treat yourself to a new fit from one of America's most forward-thinking fashion districts.

Best ‘Glow-Up’ Cities by Category

The best cities if you wanna feel yo’ self? No matter where you are in the U.S., there's no shortage of spas, salons, and fitness centers to help you get started on your glow-up journey. Up first for the Feelin' Yourself category is a four-way tie between NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago and Phoenix!

We're all familiar with the hustle and bustle of NYC, LA, and Chicago, but how about some down time? Houstonians love their beauty services, and not just for the looks. The city has seen a huge spike in its number of beauty salons--ranking second-highest for both nail salons and hair salons.

Looking to glow-up your mental health? After all, adulting can be hard. But Baltimore has what every self-care queen craves: a city full of mental wellness resources and access to professionals who understand. It's no surprise that Baltimore came in first place in the Mental Health category due to its high number of mental wellness resources throughout the city. Along with having many mental health professionals and therapists to choose from in Charm City, Baltimore has also recently made great strides to invest in its behavioral health efforts and improve health conditions citywide.

What about your physical self? Are you looking to upgrade your current bod? New York City is one of the most walkable cities in the country. Not only do you need a car to get around in the City of Angels, but LA was also recognized as the sixth worst city to drive in the U.S. If getting a snatched bod is on your to-do list, consider ditching your car and moving to NYC. Your glutes will thank you.
