A Family Affair

Inspired by the art of middle eastern perfume laying with 6 years in the making. Huda beauty has bought out her first fragrance. Khayali ( my imagination in Arabic) range with its four fragrances allows you wear mix and match to create your own lasting scent to match your character and PH level.

The brain child of Mona Kattan , Huda’s younger sister Khayali Vanilla , Citrus , Musk & Elixir each of the fragrances in their own rights are delicate , sweet , romantic tones yet oddly refreshing scents. Personally not fan of sweet scents yet khayli to me is the ideal summer fragrance set that can be taken from day to night.

Vanilla with its mixture of Vanilla Orchid, Brown Sugar, Amber & Musk, stays true to its names the scent sets a uniquely elegant yet deep sweet note. The sweet scent reminds one of my mum personal favorites at 90s classical perfumes Givenchy Amarige with its sophisticated Bold femininity.

Ideally this would be paired with Elixir as suggested by https://www.shophudabeauty.com/us/en_US/kayali-vanilla.html , the strongest sent of the four scents. Personally would prefer to wear Vanilla on its own due to its sweetness.

My favorite of the collection Musk combined with jasmine , sandalwood ,vanilla & lotus flower. This is scent reflects the kattan trios sisters Arab heritage. With the Musk, sandalwood as the leading stars of the scent aided by the Jasmine and vanilla , combined together create the blockbuster perfume of this range . This musk scent elevates the mood almost instantly .

Citrus mixed with Pink grapefruit, Rose Centifolia,Oakmoss is the most refreshing of the 4. It has clean crisp tone , imagine the feeling of fresh bedding , Yes that fresh !. The Strong yet not overpowering citrus scent with base tone of grapefruit and top tone oakmoss reflects modern aroma.

Elixir the foundation of the collection with a mixture of ingredients that include Red apple, Rose De Mai Absolute , Patchouli. The Standing out scent has an element of masculinity the surrounds the undertones. captivating scent with its blondness which mellows to become sophisticated bodied perfume the brews perfectly with its sister perfumes.

The design of the Kayali with its very Arab and Asian ingredients together with the western mixtures also most reflect the characters of Katan sisters them selves & their adorable father Dr Kattan . Mona as vanilla sweet yet empowering, Huda as Musk Captivating Alia as citrus with just the right balance . Elixir with bold yet delicate tones almost reflects Dr Kattan himself
