Imitation they say is the best form of flattery.

Yesterday, Nollywood actress Chika Ike while celebrating her birthday posted a photoset of pictures which I’ll show you really soon below onto her Instagram page. Immediately, the picture begun to get a lot of engagement and reshares because in the picture, she is seen wearing a chain-link hairstyle that is very reminiscent of the one American singer, Cardi B, wore in her now famous WAP music video.

People immediately started putting up who wore it better polls in Chika’s comment section as well. You know I like to have fun, it’s the only reason you guys have followed me for this long.

So, to keep the fun going, I have decided to do a little game of WHO WORE IT BETTER for these 7 Nigerian Celebrities Who Have Either Dressed or Worn Very Similar Outfits to Those of their American Counterparts.

Are you ready? Then let’s go!

1. Chika Ike VS Cardi B

Chika Ike in her birthday photoshoot rocked a chain-link hairstyle that is very similar to the one popularized by American rapper, Cardi B.

Who do you think rocked it better?

2. Toke Makinwa vs Jennifer Lopez

Nigerian socialite and OAP, Toke Makinwa famously recreated the iconic Versace dress worn and popularized by American singer, Jennifer Lopez. Some people praised Toke’s efforts saying that she looked even more divine in the dress than J.LO did while others think this is far from the case.

What do you think? Who rocked it better?

3. Tiwa Savage vs Vicky Pattison

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage and British reality TV star Vicky Pattison both wore very similar outfits by Self Portrait. Vicky wore her dress to the book signing of her book ‘The Real Me’ while Tiwa wore her outfit at the Durban July event in South Africa.

Who do you think rocked the look better?

4. Niniola vs Beyonce

This one is funny.

Niniola famously took to Instagram to post a picture of the outfit that her tailor sewed for her after giving the tailor a picture of Beyonce wearing the desired outfit. The end-result as you can see is far from what she gave the tailor. Thankfully, Niniola has a solid sense of humor and brought both pictures to social media so we can have a laugh.

Who do you think rocked it better?

5. Genevieve Nnaji vs Rihanna

Star Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji and wildly famous American singer, Rihanna both wore very similar designs of an outfit but in differing colors.

In your opinion, who do you think rocked this style better?

6. Temi Otedola vs Beyonce

Nigerian actress and socialite, Temi Otedola rocked the same Ankara fabric rocked by none other than American superstar, Beyonce.

Both women look good in their outfits but if you were to pick, who do you think wore it better?

7. Rukky Sanda vs Ciara

Nollywood actress Rukky Sanda rocked a similar plunging neck-lined short dress that American singer, Ciara wore on the red carpet.

Looking at the two, who do you think wore it better?

That’s All.
