5 Times Yemi Alade's Clothes Embarrassed Her (Photos)

Nigerian singer Yemi Alade is by far one of the most eclectic and energetic performers in the country today. On stage and off, she has rocked a number of show-stopping outfits from her music videos to her red carpet appearances.

With all the she's worn, it will be impossible for Yemi not to have had any mishaps over the years. Going through her looks, Yemi Alade has really had some spectacular looks over the years, but she has also had some oops! moments.

Without further ado, here are 5 times Yemi Alade's Clothes embarrassed her.

1. The ripped panty hose

The first outfit embarrassment happened to Yemi Alade when she was still in her up and coming days. Yemi was booked to perform at an event and was ruthlessly criticized by fans and blogs for wearing panty hose that happened to be torn at different places.

2. This picture

When Yemi Alade posted the above picture, she must have undoubtedly been feeling very confident in the bra that she was wearing and the picture that she was serving. However, people on the internet had different reactions to the picture. One user commented about the picture saying:

Something is sagging

And replying to the comment, Yemi who saw the comment responded back saying:

Yes, your cell membrane.

3. "Remind You" video

For the music video of her song, Remind You, Yemi Alade decided to amp up the sexy and show a lot more sexiness and skin than she's ever done in any of her music videos prior. The result was a very beautiful, very sexy, and nicely done music video to accompany the song.

One bit though that got some people on the internet talking was a scene where Yemi Alade while wearing this beautiful pink gown turns around and the camera captures this:

Some people on the internet thought that the tights she was wearing could have better matched her underwear while some other people said that the angle simply wasn't flattering and showed a bit much more than they were comfortable with seeing.

4. Her Yam Carnival Outfit

Yemi Alade almost suffered a serious wardrobe malfunction when she decided to wear during the Yam Carnival this outfit that could barely contain her breasts. A lot of the comments about the performance were about the outfit choice and how Yemi was literally one dance move away from having a serious wardrobe malfunction. Luckily for her, nothing slipped but wow, if something had, it would have been really bad.

5. High Rising Shorts

During a performance, Yemi Alade opted to wear this blue ensemble and unfortunately for her, during the performance, the bottom of the shorts started to rise. Of course there was a camera man there to capture the moment. Yemi posted the picture to social media writing:
