There is no way we can talk about fashion, influencing, or social media presence in Nigeria without the name Toke Makinwa coming up.

She is referred to by many as Nigeria's own Kim Kardashian in the sense that she was the first real 'influencer' that Nigerians got. At the time when she was starting out, nobody really knew who she was or what she did, but her style and presence commanded attention and the Toke Makinwa brand took off.

With a career like hers that has spanned many years and many looks, it would be impossible for her not to have had any mishaps over the years. Going through her archives, Toke has really had some spectacular looks over the years, but she has also had some oops! moments.

Here are 5 times Toke Makinwa's Clothes embarrassed her.

1. AFRIFF 2015

Toke Makinwa's look to AFRIFF 2015 was a very bold decision. She wore a gown with a very low hanging neck that exposed a whole lot of cleavage - without a bra. From the minute she got unto the windy red carpet, it was evident that the outfit was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, and boy did that dress malfunction.

First on the red carpet when she suffered a slight nip-slip.

And then later when she suffered yet another slight nip-slip.

This dress was a very bold decision - a decision I don't think Toke would be taking again without a lot more caution.

2. Chief Daddy Premiere

Toke Makinwa's look to the Chief Daddy movie premiere was to me a stunner - she looked really good.

But, people had a lot to say about how tight the dress was around Toke's chests. One user said: "those boobs are crying for help," while another said: "I pity d breasts".

3. EndSARS outfit

During the End SARS protest that happened last year, Toke Makinwa was one of the celebrities who came out to lend her voice to the cause.

However, it seems that the outfit she chose for the occasion rubbed some people the wrong way. A Twitter user named Nneka got in a spat with Toke over her choice of clothes and behavior at the protest. Nneka tweeted:

Seeing the tweet and not caring for it in the slightest, Toke fired back at the user saying:

4. This Sheer Dress

Toke has no problems going braless it seems. The socialite took to social media to show off this tight pink sheer dress, but immediately the post was put up online, all anybody could talk about was how they could see her breasts and how the socialite should have worn a bra with the look.

5. The Biker Shorts

Toke Makinwa wore biker shorts once and after the experience she had wearing the shorts, she said:

Biker shorts are not for me and I shall not be wearing them anymore. I was a tad bit embarrassed as I posted these photos without zooming in and then I thought there are worse things in life so hey. I’ve got PPS and in its sweet in the middle. Laugh at yourself sometimes, it’s healthy.

Why was Toke Makinwa a tad bit embarrassed in the picture? Well, because the biker shorts had her sporting some heavy cameltoe.

What do you think about Toke's outfits in general and what do you think about these ones you've just seen? Tell me via comment on my Facebook post, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

That's All.
