2020 fashion trends to watch for
From unitards to pink suit dresses, 2020 is bringing the best fashion trends we never saw coming.
Do I need to explain the white booties? They aren’t going anywhere in 2020! I know I got my Steve Madden pair online for under $200 and I wear them with literally everything! This outfit is literally everything that Bachelor Star Whitney Fransway is wearing.
1. FUZZY FURRY TWO PIECE SETS
Bring on all the fur and fuzz in 2020! There will be no shortage of fuzzy two piece sets to find this year. Whether you’re wearing them to watch for Monday night Bachelor or for Math class on Friday, you will be super cute and comfy in these sets. You can find this white crop one from Fashion nova!
You’ll see a theme throughout my article that 2020 has no shortage of pink either. We love this cute color of baby pink, which is brought on by our extremely confident feminine culture. We feel so much more powerful and when we feel confident we look confident! This color screams sexy and “I know who I am and I know where I am going”. (Tiger Mist Pictured) This is the perfect fuzzy set and it’s so cute with a bucket hat for any casual occasion.
2. Layering Dresses and Shirts
This trend is the easiest way to make a simple look appear much more thoug out and sexy. Put a little white v-neck under a strappy dress and pair it with some high knee socks and a power pony and suddenly Kylie Jenner has some competition!
A lot of looks with layering have also been pairing the Plain white button up with tight corsets or tighter dresses which a totally sexy and great look for a night out! Head over to Revolve to check out some great ways to rock this look and your cart will be full on their website before you know it!
3. SPARKLE SPARKLE SPARKLE
It’s 2020 and we are ROARIN for some sparkle. And just as much as we love our sets they are staying in 2020 and only getting better. Windsor has amazing looks like this one at great prices. The glam is amazing in this look, paired with a belt and some booties, no one will compare!
4. Geometric shapes and cutouts
5. The unitard (Pictured from Pretty Little Thing)
6. The oversized suit jacket. (BYOB-Bring Your Own Blazer!)
Finally, 2020 gets it!!! We are capturing the feminine side of business casual and making it sexy. Now I wouldn’t walk into the office with just a bra and blazer on, but sweet you rock and sweet you roll honey! You can find these blazers anywhere from PLT (Pretty Little Thing) to Tiger Mist to Target! Even if you are ballin on a budget you can grab one of these bad boys pair it with a skirt and sequined bralette and go out on the town!
7. The clinched mini dress
These are absolutely adorable and no matter what size you are you can rock one with little to no effort. Pacsun has plenty to offer, from velvet, to sequin, to satin. All of the “in” prints of the decade are here and ready to play! I’m so here for the Scrunched look because it’s so playful and form flattering!
8. The jumpsuit
This jumpsuit is literally mine and my boyfriends favorite thing in my whole wardrobe. It’s so comfy and I can dress it up or down so easily. I wore it here with some white booties and a jean jacket but I have worn it many times with sneakers and a zip up hoodie when I am just not feeling it! You can get this exact one at ShoptheTinyCloset.com and many like it. So cute and comfy!!!
9. In general: Online Shopping!
We get it too. I have had a major online shopping problem lately, and when I’m not online shopping I get online shopping FOMO. But what I will day is for those moments when I’m way more anxious or sad... it feels so good to have a little bit of money saved in the bank to buy myself a statement piece or two piece set from one of my fave online stores. Y’all go check em out for yourself and your cart will be overflowing!!!
