If a person across several cities, several provinces, or even several countries to find a lost relative or friend, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack, who can hardly do it. But what people can't do, the spirit cat can. What is the secret of this?

Miracle: Crossing Thousands of Miles to the Old Master

One day during the First World War, a British sergeant lying in a trench suddenly heard several familiar barks, and then the cat he had kept at home in England jumped onto his right shoulder. The sergeant had been away from home for six months and was constantly moving posts on the battlefield in France, so how did his pet cat find him across the English Channel?

What a puzzle - this is an anecdote told by a British animal psychologist in his book "Animal Psychology". In fact, for a long time, there has been a constant stream of strange and interesting stories about spirit cats, but the most amazing one is that the spirit cats can find their old masters like a needle in a haystack without knowing where they landed thousands of miles away.

At the beginning of this century, such a spirit cat was also found in France. A French family moved from Toulouse in the south of France to Vitrine in the north of France, a distance of more than 800 km between the two cities. Before the move, the old owners gave their pet cat "Mini" to another family in Toulouse for adoption. However, they never dreamed that although "Bimini" had never been to the city of Trevino, she left her new owner and began the adventure of "finding her old master". After a long journey of 13 months, "Mini" miraculously found her old owner.

Recently, another cat was found across the border to find its old owner. Two years ago, Khabarovsk, who had just turned 50, and her family moved from their old home in Uzbekistan to Russia. During the move, they gave their beloved pet cat "Kareem" to a neighbor. But the day after they arrived at their new home in Risks, Russia, they received a call from the neighbor they had fostered the cat from, saying that Kareem had disappeared. One day, two years later. later Kharkiv returned home and was surprised to find Kareem waiting for her at the door. Hajj ova was overcome with sadness and joy and burst into tears. She was happy that her family could be reunited with their beloved pet again, but sad that she knew that "Kareem" had to cross three national borders and travel more than 3,200 kilometers to find a new home, and how much suffering she had to suffer along the way!

These spirit cats have created a miracle of life. But how did they find their old master?

Road recognition: by precognition?

Many animals have certain precognitive skills, such as tsunamis and other catastrophes, before the majority of wild animals living on the beach is to rely on precognitive skills to escape successfully. Compared with other animals, cats are particularly good at foresight.

For example, a care and rehabilitation center in a city in the United States adopted a kitten named Oscar, it can foresee the imminent death of patients. It was observed that when each patient was dying a few hours before, Oscar would come to the patient to get down and make a whimpering sound; and if Oscar was kicked out of the dying patient's room, he would meow uneasily outside the room. Of course, when the patient died, it would immediately leave. To the amazement of the staff, Oscar's "sickness notification" message was very accurate for each behavior.

What is even more amazing is that the cat also can foresee impending danger. For example, in 1940, during Hitler's mass bombing of London, in the hours before the German planes attacked, some cats walked back and forth in their homes, frequently screaming, some even biting their owner's skirt desperately pulled out, urging them to quickly hide in bomb shelters to take refuge.

Another example is not long ago, in China's Jiangxi County, there is a three or four-year-old female cat, who also showed this skill. One day, the owner found that the cat had six kittens, so they were relocated from their original small place to the spacious west room. A few days later, one morning, the mother cat suddenly changed her gentle demeanor and became crazy: she took the kittens in the West Room's nest one by one to a secluded place in the yard in a hurry; the owner found, immediately went to stop her behavior, but no matter how the owner stopped, the mother cat still did what she wanted, until all six kittens out of the West Room. The amazing thing is that when the mother cat just took the kittens to the yard, the roof of the west house suddenly collapsed and smashed the nest where the original cat and her son were living.

So, how does a cat know the future? Could this skill be the result of a thousand miles to find the old master?

American researchers believe that cats are likely to use abnormal changes in the electromagnetic field of things to predict their changes. For example, before the tsunami is about to come, the surface of the electromagnetic field has undergone unusual changes; the patient is critically ill before its electromagnetic field has also undergone unusual changes, and the shed roof of the house is about to collapse before its internal structure has also undergone unusual changes and caused changes in the electromagnetic field ...... cat It is because it is particularly sensitive to these abnormal electromagnetic field signal changes, so it can immediately react, or prompt the master, or quickly escape.

However, it seems that this foreknowledge skill of the spirit cats cannot help them find the old master thousands of miles away, because after the old master lives down thousands of miles away, its electromagnetic field generally does not undergo any unusual changes, so they should not be able to foresee the old master's situation, so they cannot talk about where they know the old master is.

Masterstroke: will capture the owner's radiation waves?

It seems that there is another trick for the spirit cats to be able to find their old masters from thousands of miles away. Our researchers believe, by summarizing the results of various types of research, that perhaps it is because the cats are particularly sensitive to the radiation waves emitted by their old masters that they can successfully find their old masters.

Research has confirmed that the human body can radiate radiation waves that can be received by the instrument. Scientists believe that the mystery lies in the fact that objects whose temperature is above absolute zero can emit radiation waves, only that such radiation waves cannot be recognized by the naked eye. The study also found that people in the emitted radiation waves at the same time, including visible light from cosmic space, ultraviolet light, as well as from the Earth itself, such as X-rays radiation, the human body in a relatively special electromagnetic field, electromagnetic energy excitation, it will produce a longer wavelength than the original absorbed radiation waves of secondary radiation. For spirit cats, human radiation waves are the signal source they want to track.

Secondly, because they get along closely with their owners, spirit cats are most familiar with their owners' unique radiation waves, just as dogs are most familiar with their owners' unique scents. Relevant research has confirmed that animals can sense each other's body information through changes in each other's radiation waves. For example, American scientists injected mice with a chemical drug that causes mild stomach pain. When scientists let other normal mice and painful mice gather together, found that the original normal mice also seemed to empathize with the pain of the drug-taking mice, and also more or less presented a painful reaction. Accordingly, it was speculated that because the spirit cats were sensitive to the owner's radiation wave, which radiates at the speed of light, they could easily lock the owner's location, just like a person with a cell phone, no matter where on earth the person is, as long as his cell phone card and battery are normal, then the satellite positioning system can lock his location at any time.

So, why do spirit cats risk their lives to find their old masters? Do they possess the virtue of loyalty?

Research confirms that animals have a stronger sense of fear than humans. Spirit cats have a unique sense of security because they have been with their old masters for a long time, but they still have a sense of fear of other unfamiliar environments and people. It is an animal's instinct to find security, so when the old owner leaves them they immediately have a sense of fear and have no trust in the new owner's unfailing care, so the only thing they want to do is to return to the old owner immediately. Although the road is full of unfamiliar environments, which are extremely risky and frightening to them, for them, the urgency of finding a safe place - their old master - overrides everything, just like a hungry wolf sees prey at its mouth, they will ignore all other risks to achieve their goal, which in turn makes them feel unusually brave.

Although this conjecture is reasonable, there are still many issues that need to be further clarified, such as what is the organ that cats use to capture human radiation waves, whether there is any relevant experimental basis, and so on. Some scholars also believe that this performance of the spirit cats is an extremely fortuitous event, just like a person who bet $2 on a lottery ticket and won the $5 million jackpot, it is a coincidence plus a coincidence, and there is no mystery at all to speak of.

There is no definitive answer as to who is right and who is wrong. Readers may wish to immediately join the ranks of the explorers, but also take up the mission of scientific mystery.
