Goddahzz & Blaze dressed as Lilo & Stitch

There she was tossing turning in and out of sleep only to be startled by what she thought was a kitten desperately meowing and clawing at the door trying to pry his way in. A sudden chill went down her spine from the anxiety settling within from being unsure of what was going on. Goddahzz curiosity nudged her to slowly get up to check outside. To her surprise when she opened the door it wasn't a kitten, but some kind of small blue creature with four legs, huge ears, and big bug eyes staring at her with a creepy yet cute unforgettable smile. Oddly he appeared to be gentle and cuddly as if something was telling her he's not harmful yet very affectionate. Confused as to what was happening she quickly recalled a dream she previously had showing her something or someone would be entering her life to help heal past hurt. Letting out a brief sigh of relief she proceeded towards the small blue creature.

What exactly would somebody call this she wondered while getting ready to pick it up for a closer look. From being a bit frightened the creature arched his back hissing and slowly started to poke out an extra set of arms as if he was getting ready to protect himself. Goddahzz assured him in a soft welcoming voice “I will take care of you and protect you just as my own child”. Letting his guard down he accepted the warm embrace into her arms. The connection was instant, sweet, and warm like drinking a nice glass of spiked cider on a chilly October night. From the encounter it seemed like they met before in another lifetime. Goddahzz started to experience an intense blazing feeling deep within following up with a sudden solace filling her whole body. She quickly started to mentally skim through a list of names and within seconds “Blaze” appeared in big bold letters. It was just what she needed after the passing of her former fur baby whom was like a son. Smiling with the biggest grin hugging Blaze a bit more tighter she cried a miniature waterfall of tears from her eyes. It was bliss and gratitude all being released as she knew he wasn't the average creature but another son she'd claim.

A couple of months went by with their bond flourishing so strong they became family, a mother and son dynamic just as she predicted. She taught him that Ohana means family from her Hawaiian culture and everyday she reminded him through her loving actions. Goddahzz believes in the value of family especially when it comes to welcoming a pet into the picture. She is a firm believer of pets being more than just an animal because they become our little babies, our children, our companions. Blaze holds an equal amount of space in her heart just as her other children does. He's intuitive of knowing when she needs comforting even when in denial of accepting the love he purrs into her heart. Not many would understand the bond of ones relationship with their pet especially if they don't feel they have emotions or think of them as just an animal. As a person with a strong passion for love it's easy for Goddahzz to welcome animals into her life and home as her own. Buddy whom was her first official fur baby practically grew up with her from a preteen to a young adult and she dedicates this to him because he truly opened her heart to understanding and valuing the importance of having a furry companion in life to help heal in ways she didn't fathom. When your spirit is authentic and genuine you attract animals while earning their trust to take care of them as your own and that's the beauty of Goddahzz & Blaze relationship.
