Tamika is a Siberian tiger. Layla's mother died at the hands of poachers and the tiger's skin was sold for a high price. Fortunately, Tamika was adopted by Progeny, a farmer. He was adopted, but not kept in his home. Progeny is a farmer who lives near the reserve, and during the week Tamika would often go to Progeny's doorstep and wait for Progeny to feed him some food.

Because she left her mother so early, Tamika spent most of her life until she was one year old in a tiger pen a few hundred meters away from Progeny's house. Each day, Progeny would feed Tamika two meals of tiger food, one at 8:00 am and one at 9:00 pm, according to the food ration given by the zoologist. The tigers will eat these two main meals every day and hunt some game on their own the rest of the day.

Tigers are suspicious animals by nature, and it is difficult for them to get close to people. Tamika is relatively friendly with people because it has been living in a human area since it was young, but it is a tiger after all. The Northeast tiger is the largest feline in existence and has the strongest wild nature. Progeny was careful when feeding Tamika, fearing that it would become aggressive and attack people.

As he grew older, Tamika gradually revealed his original cunning and power. Sometimes Tamika would deliberately joke with Progeny, such as hiding and then attacking Progeny. This made Progeny very worried. On the advice of a zoologist, Progeny dismantled the tiger pen when Tamika was almost 2 years old. Tamika then spent more time in the wild, only coming to visit her benefactor near Progeny's house every week.

The tiger Tamika is affectionate to Progeny. It allows Progeny to stroke its chin with his hand, but others who want to do so are not allowed to do so. It will also catch at least two game for Progeny every week, usually rabbits, and sometimes foxes. The local elders told Progeny that tigers usually grow up with their mothers, but they remember the smell of their fathers throughout their lives, and Tamika must have considered Progeny his father.

Once, when Tamika was more than four years old, there was a shortage of food due to the effects of a snowstorm. A wolf pack that used to roost in a distant place became interested in Progeny's farm. This wolf pack guarded outside the farm for three consecutive days, and Progeny tried to fire his gun to drive it away, but the pack would not leave.

On the fourth day, the tiger Tamika, who had gone out to roam, came back with a furious tiger's whistle and rushed recklessly to the leader of the pack. Driven by hunger, the wolves did not retreat and tried to fight the tiger. But the head wolf was no match for the tiger Tamika, and Tamika bit off the neck of the head wolf. The wolves started to flee and Tokay did not let them go and hunted and killed two more wolves in a row. Progeny was worried about Tamika's injuries, but after observation, he found that Tamika had only suffered some superficial injuries and was not seriously hurt.

On another occasion, Progeny's grandson, who was studying in Moscow, came to the farm to play and got lost because of a snowstorm. Progeny was very anxious. The tiger, Tamika, seemed to understand his benefactor's feelings and rushed into the snow, leading the farmer's grandson back to the farm more than two hours later. People say that tigers like Tamika are very rare and that it possesses a lot of humanity, probably from growing up in human settlements as a cub.

But Tamika left the farm for good when he was just over five years old. Zoologists told Progeny that the tiger was destined to have its vast territory, and in order not to interfere with the farm where his benefactor was, Tamika the tiger deliberately went to more distant places to establish his territory. He was never seen again, and today Progeny is an old man who sometimes misses the "big cat" he raised. He says that Tamika must have become a tiger king somewhere, and he sometimes dreams of this tiger: in a snowstorm, Tamika runs towards him excitedly, just as he did when he was a young boy.
