Look, the little brother in front of you is chasing a cat.

The cat dodged and ran into a cul-de-sac, and was scared by him, cowering in the corner and shivering. Look closely, the cat is lying next to a cat, just so much noise did not affect it, it is still lying motionless on the ground.

Little brother said the cat on the ground is the cat's mother, it has been living with his mother, but recently he has not seen its mother, the little brother is very worried about it, so he came to find it.

The cat stayed by its mother's side, meowing as if it was crying. Its eyes were full of sadness. What had happened? Is the mother cat still alive?

When we walked away, the cat walked out of the alley in small steps. We could determine by looking at it from a distance that the mother cat had no breath and looked dead for several days.

We followed the cat and saw it drinking from a puddle not far away. As soon as it finished drinking, it immediately darted back to its mother.

It didn't seem to realize that mom had passed away and thought she was just asleep as it lay on top of her to keep her warm. However, she didn't respond to him, and he didn't get discouraged and groomed her thoughtfully.

He was content just to stay by his mom's side. After grooming, she leaned on her again and warmed her with her body.

When it was dark, the cat dragged its tired body and huddled itself in the corner, and slowly closed its eyes.

To understand the situation, little brother slowly approach it, however, it immediately woke up as soon as it sensed the light, and then turned around and hid in the window under the railing. The small body retracted as far as possible, just to not be found. We came to the basement near the alley, and sure enough, we saw half of the cat there.

If it fell from such a high place, it would be injured, so we did not dare to alarm it. After a while, after sensing that there was no danger, the cat returned to its mother, sitting on her and meowing, as if telling her about its grievances. We did not dare to approach it easily for fear of scaring it.

Night falls, the cat has not eaten for a long time, it is now a little hungry, and while there are few people now, it intends to go out for food. It sneaks into other people's homes and hides in the flowerbeds to eat.

We came closer and saw that it was gnawing on a piece of root. Poor little guy, it was so hungry that it was feeding on roots.

At that moment, the owner of the house came out, and this action scared the kitten, which immediately ran away through the fence. We soon found him again, and he darted back to his mother with a piece of meat in his mouth.

Then he put the meat in his mother's mouth, he wanted to leave it to her.

Then it squatted on top of her, warming her with its body heat.

This alley is very dark, yet as long as its mom is there, it is not afraid. Our biggest concern was how long could its body hold up.

The next day, we called the vet and at this point, the kitten was still guarding its mother's side.

The vet said that the cat kept calling out to its mother and should not know that she had died, but the kitten should be very upset that her mother never responded to it. It has been waiting, waiting for when mommy will wake up.

Although it is difficult to give it a change of environment, it would be bad for the kitten to stay next to a decomposing corpse instead. The rescuers immediately took action. As a precaution, they brought cardboard to seal the basement window with duct tape. Then the veterinarian slowly into the alley, and sure enough, the kitten saw a stranger and immediately alerted, looking around for an exit.

The next thing he did was speed past the vet!

As a result, the rescue team outside caught him red-handed. He kept struggling and trying to escape, but all in vain.

We wrapped a towel around him and he seemed calmer, but there was still a look of fear in his eyes. Then the vet wrapped the towel around the mother's body and took her out.

The mother cat had been dead for a week. The cat looked at its mother from the side and could not stop crying, it could not accept its death. The staff on the side was also deeply touched by this scene. We needed to know the cat's current physical condition, so it was brought to the hospital. It was obvious that it was still in the pain of losing its mother, and its eyes were full of sadness.

To understand the cause of death of the mother cat, the veterinarian performed an autopsy on her. The mother cat's stomach was full of plastic bags, which should have cut through her intestines as they squirmed around, causing her death.

Then the vet examined the cat again, however, during the examination he found something strange. The cat was very skinny, but its stomach was filled with all sorts of things, including dirt and rocks, which shows how difficult it was for the little guy to survive.

Now it was time for it to say goodbye to its mother.

The vet carefully placed him next to his mother, and although this was difficult for him

But step by step, he slowly crawled towards his mother and into her arms. He whimpered and whined, expressing his feelings for his mother.

When the vet took him away, he held on to his arm and kept his eyes on his mother.

To reassure her, the vet put a blanket with her scent in the hamper. Thankfully, with the blanket in place, she looked better, but there was still a sadness in her eyes that she couldn't contain.

The mother is everything to the kitten, and we sincerely hope that she will get over her grief soon.
