dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Furry Angels
We have had Shamar for, roughly, three-and-a-half years. She is a German/Austrailian Shepherd and boy did I not understand what I was getting when we picked her up. I Quickly learned how affectionate, energetic, intelligent (still learning this), and loyal this combination breed is. When we started her training I remember the trainer saying she would never do a shepherd. We asked why and she stated "I would never do a breed smarter than me." She was so right, Shamar shows us this frequently and we love her for it!

There are many benefits of raising a dog, and now there is scientific proof that raising a dog helps longevity, some users said: immediately get a dog, not for anything else, just to be able to live a long life.
Maxwell's Thanksgiving Message
On this lovely Thanksgiving Eve, I'm reminded of the multitude of things for which I have to be grateful. I have wonderful family and friends, a good job, and a roof over my head. But beyond this gratitude, I was struck by something else today. It was a slow day at the office, and with the permission of one my bosses, I brought my sweet Maxwell to work with me. Anyone that knows me knows that the little guy is a ubiquitous fixture in my life. He lends an ear when I need to vent, and his presence calms me in a way that I cannot quite explain. He is kind and soulful in a way I've never personally known any animal to be. He's a sidekick, a protector, a therapy dog. But he is also, as I believe all of nature to be, a teacher.

It's autumn again, and the pet owners have to worry. The reason why it is, excluding the trouble of pet heat, is their hair loss problem.

A few months ago, my sister, Janis, decided that she was going to adopt a dog of her own. It was a long process because her apartment’s landlord usually has restrictions that prohibit residents from keeping pets. However, thanks to approval from a doctor, they made an exception for her to adopt a pet. By this point, she decided on who she was going to adopt: a foxy rat terrier puppy named “Angie” who was renamed “Zelda” after a character from the “Legend of Zelda” series of games. Then came the day of adoption and I joined Janis to cross state lines into Massachusetts to take Zelda home.
Jenna DeedyPublished 2 years ago in PetlifeAccidentally adopted stray Samoyed, pregnant wife asked to send, the next day the wife changed her mind
Today, it is still about those things between pregnancy and dogs. The only difference with the usual is that this dog is unfortunate because it wandered and lucky because it wandered and met its owner who is now good to it, and the lady is still pregnant!
A Last, Lasting Memory
My most cherished moment with my Catahoula was her last. I lied my belly on the cold tile of the vet office, face to face with Roxy while she rested on her favorite blanket. I pressed my forehead to hers, holding her paws while a final drug injected into her vein. Her last, deep breaths brushed across my nose in a warm wash. I kissed her snout, tears falling to dance down her fur. Roxy's big eyes closed peacefully.

Mother's love, never regardless of species, is like a huge flame that warms every child. Very often, in the body of animals, we can also feel the greatness and selflessness of maternal love.

In early January 2016, I was given a kitten. A kitten that took a liking to me the moment that he met me. He was a tiny puffball, and I knew that one day he would grow to be a longhaired beauty.

This morning, my dog Milla and I woke up to a gray sky and a weak sun rising above the tree line. Usually, she'd be whining to be taken out, but instead, she remains in bed, her eyes woeful and large as she stares at me. I push myself up and make my way to the bathroom. That's when I hear her stumble after me, then her crash as she falls against the wall and slides onto the floor, her limbs splayed beneath her.
Jaik-Jaik “Da Baby”
Jaik-Jaik “Da Baby” is a dog of his own reconnaissance. When he runs outside of the house, he simultaneously relieves himself on our flower box and keeps his eyes peeled for the huge German shepherd down the street. Once Jaik knows his archrival is nowhere in sight, and his bladder is almost empty, he waits for me to put his leash on so we can take our walk. Our walks vary and depend solely on whether Jaik wants to empty the rest of his bladder around the corner at the Corgi’s house OR further up the street where his girlfriend Luna the Husky lives. Finally, once he has made his decision between Corgi or Husky, he sits down and puts his paw up. This lets me know, the unaware human, that he is tired and would like to walk back home. It is clear this dog knows what he wants and is very aware of how to ascertain his daily rituals of comfort. Therefore, the fondest memory of Jaik-Jaik is one that falls in place with his character. It was the summer of 2020. I was not feeling well, and Jaik decided that he needed to walk me.
