This poor dog was about to be near death, he looked emaciated and anyone could see he was in pain. Everyone walked past this fossilized looking puppy, but assumed it was a deceased puppy. Except for one person. What happens next will bring tears to your eyes. In places the world doesn't use, stray animals live in joints every day. They go out aimlessly looking for food, while hoping someone will give them a forever home. Some puppies are lucky enough to be rescued and adopted by people. Unfortunately, some stray dogs are never rescued. They will continue to live in miserable conditions. They will never be able to eat a good meal. Can't sleep in a warm bed. Nor can they enjoy the hugs of their owners. They pass away without experiencing the beauty the world has to offer.

Like this puppy, wandering the streets of Argentina, this puppy almost died. The puppy had a good start in life, once it had loving parents who poured a lot of love and affection into this puppy. His owners were a young couple whose marriage was on the verge of breaking up at the time. They were having problems with their pregnancy. So they thought this puppy arrived in the family and that having a dog would bring them closer. There were fewer arguments. The couple took good care of the puppy. But unfortunately, after a few months the puppy slept every night in the environment where they were constantly arguing. A month later the wife never returned and the husband did not live in the house. He was haunted by the memory of his wife, so he left. Leaving the poor dog behind. They don't think about how the puppy survived. The puppy used to be a source of happiness for them. The sad thing is. All they cared about was their pain and quarrels. So the puppy is now alone on the street to survive.

At first he thought people were friendly to stray dogs because he looked cute and healthy. So it often gets food. But as time goes by, when he looks ragged, people start to chase him and dislike him, and the dog becomes thinner and thinner. It was hard to survive in the streets. It didn't take long for the puppy to catch a cold. He began sleeping in warm but dirty conditions, which only made his condition worse. He developed a severe skin disease. The poor puppy began to lose all his fur. Then he no longer had the strength to go out and look for food, so he stayed in one place. For a month he scratched himself all day long. Its condition began to deteriorate. It became so bony and thin that all it could do was lie in one place and wait for its end. At this point it had almost no hair left on its body. It was impossible to recognize that the puppy was still alive. Its skin was so dry and dirty that it looked more like a fossil than a real dog.

Since Christmas is almost here, every day people are busy decorating with Christmas lights and Christmas trees. People were laughing next to this puppy and talking about their Christmas plans. But no one stopped to help the poor puppy. Life slowly began to slip away from the puppy a week before Christmas, when it already looked like a skeleton. Everyone who passed by it thought it was dead. Those who could see it still breathing had given up hope. They thought the puppy had no chance, so they just looked at it and shook their heads in sympathy. Then they walked away. The puppy also knew that no one would save him, but this puppy was wrong.

In fact, everyone who gave up on this puppy was wrong, and just two days before Christmas, a Good Samaritan showed up. On the day of December 23, 2017, an animal rescuer, Shirley, was visiting her friend's house when she heard about a lifeless puppy lying nearby, so she ran around the neighborhood looking for the dying puppy, and she eventually found the puppy lying in filthy conditions, and she couldn't believe that the puppy was still alive or that no one had helped him. When Shirley walked into the dog, the puppy saw hope and it knelt by Shirley's side. It made a weak sound and called out to Shirley for help. In a loving voice, Shirley said, "Hey! The puppy looked into Shirley's eyes and it moaned and whimpered making Shirley's heart break. It seemed to be telling Shirley that it was in pain. Shirley assured the puppy, I'm right here, I'll take you home. Shirley carefully put the puppy in a cage and took it to the vet, knowing that if she didn't act quickly, the dog could die.

The vet told Shirley that if he made it through Christmas, the dog might live. The vet also told Shirley that the puppy would need round-the-clock care. Shirley was ready to give everything to make sure the dog lived. So Shirley gave up the work she was doing and returned home to focus on the puppy after proper treatment. Shirley made a comfortable and beautiful shelter for the puppy and then sat next to the puppy and told him that she would keep him safe and alive. Now all the puppy can do is recover at its own pace. But the puppy's condition continued to worsen.

For the first three days, the puppy refused to eat and had no more will to live, so you could tell the puppy had given up on treatment. Even if the puppy refused to eat, Shirley gave it water every three hours. This way it could stay hydrated. Shirley sat by the puppy's side all the time so that the puppy did not feel alone. On two occasions during the first three days, Shirley thought the puppy was going to die. It really didn't look like the puppy was recovering at all. It was barely breathing. But just after the three days passed, everything changed. The puppy suddenly began to fight for its life. As time went on, the puppy got better and better, and he began to prove to Shirley that he looked stronger, and during his recovery, Shirley lifted the puppy and encouraged him to walk. Shirley was very patient.

Three weeks later, something beautiful happened when the puppy suddenly got up and started walking, however, after he took a few steps, he fell down. Nevertheless, Shirley was already very happy. Because this shows that the puppy is now struggling desperately to survive. After a few weeks, the puppy started walking around, and although it was a gradual step, it would walk for about 30 minutes and then fall down, then just walk for about an hour and fall down, and then it could walk all day for a week. Then running around the house and jumping on Shirley. It was during this time that Shirley named the puppy, naming him Hercules after the Greek power and hero.

After two months of receiving Shirley's full care, the hair on his body grew back. This is what Hercules looks like. I wonder if you like Hercules when you see him now? Who would have thought that just that dying, bony puppy was this cute and sweet Hercules! The initial plan was to take Hercules to a shelter after he fully recovered. But their bond became so strong that she couldn't let it go. They couldn't leave each other. They look forward to a future filled with lots of fun happiness and love. If Shirley had not seen Hercules on the verge of death. It might have passed away in pain. If you don't love, please don't hurt. What do you think?
