Ms. Kitty Fit’s

She is still hanging on through much adversity in her life, Ms. Kitty, is an aged female feline of 15 years but you could not figure it to be because of her delicate size. Ms. Kitty is a longhair Maine Coon breed. She is not the typical size nor has a sour temperament for a Main Coon cat. Her physical weight is under nine pounds, and she still resembles her size as a kitten. As she ages without the outward appearance of years of life that has been bestowed on her, Ms. Kitty’s supernatural spirit glows from within and warms our family’s hearts. It’s as if she was destined to remain in our family’s life for a long, long time and not change the purity and innocence of her being. When we initially volunteered to bring her home as an angel of our pet family, she was the runt of the litter and covered in dried excreta. As she was introduced to her new family, into a gentle bath she went, coming out as fresh as a daisy.

I remember choosing her as the “one” out of the litter and felt an immediate connection to her loving soul. The decision to adopt this new pet was made with sincere commitment in our family’s minds and heartfelt virtue. I picked her up and as we greeted each other’s eyes, the bond of harmony and love became instantly contagious. This new member of our family completed the emotional search for us. Her tiny frail body and mystique responded immediately to our family’s adoring love and attention. We decided then and there she shouldn’t have to be alone as our only cat and so adopted her brother, Mr. Biggs, as well.

Mr. Biggs was a much larger and stronger yellow striped kitten that has grown into a rebel. At one point during his life with us, he was lost for a year, and returned as a prodigy. He was homeless foraging for food and shelter in the harsh Upstate New York winter. Each of us in our family spent hours searching for Mr. Biggs in the cold, rain, and snow. We looked in neighborhood yards, we posted “Lost Cat” signs on telephone poles and begged local merchants to allow these signs to be hung in their windows. Eventually a call from a neighbor not far away from our home, was instructed by her veterinarian to return him to his rightful owners and that brought him back to us. It was the “microchip” implanted in his ear during his first veterinarian visit that provided the vital information about Mr. Biggs true owners. The neighbor found Mr. Biggs in her garage almost strangled from his collar wrapped around his neck and front leg. His skin was horribly chaffed, and she compassionately saved him from more harm. It is no doubt his destiny to be with our family remains the will of our creator. His attachment to his sister, Ms. Kitty, and our Shepard is apparent and the love these animals share confirm sibling connection for life.

When we brought them both home to be included in our family, they received the best nurturing and medical care from our family. They grew into adult cats in no time and were secure with their identities. When we adopted our dog Bruce Lee, later, they taught that puppy Shepard everything he knew. It was truly astounding to see our family of pets learn, grow together, and protect us. With Ms. Kitty’s furry long-hair coat of warmth and a sweetheart personality, she brings comfort to any home-life situation. Her loyalty and devotion to this family has earned her wings and an “alicorn” that she uses to remedy all our animals’ ills under our roof. Ms. Kitty’s naturally shy and solitary nature is not to be mistaken for loneliness. She is fierce beyond recognition and follows through on all her promises of magical, spiritual healing. She is the leader of the pack manifesting wisdom and freedom as she pilots her loving intentions to others. Affectionate and patient Ms. Kitty is the prime example of steadfast loyalty and true devotion. She truly exemplifies the spirit and beauty of the “Unicorn”. Her gift of just being herself, heals any troubled soul and her alicorn’s magic detoxifies the poisonous depression and anxieties others feel without her presence. Ms. Kitty is one unicorn among many, yet she is rare enough to be special and exceptional. The healing powers of Ms. Kitty with our family’s relationship is what makes Halloween for pets a fun and exciting time for all pets, and Unicorns.
