He can't get enough, the second I open the bag!

Bub and Simon are more than just pets; they're family. When I first adopted them, I was determined to give them the best life possible, and that included finding the right food to support their health. Both of my boys are pit bull/bully mixes, and while they bring so much joy into my life, they also come with their fair share of health challenges.

Bully breeds like Bub and Simon are known for having sensitive skin and a tendency toward allergies. Over the years, I tried countless brands and types of dog food, always hoping to find something that wouldn’t irritate their skin or upset their stomachs. We went through Honest Kitchen, raw-fed diets from Rawfedk9, and even experimented with other subscription dog foods. While they enjoyed the Rawfedk9 meals, I worried that they weren’t getting all the nutrients they needed, and the cost quickly became unsustainable. Meanwhile, the Honest Kitchen gave Bub runny stool and didn’t sit well with Simon either, leaving me frustrated and them uncomfortable. These foods were not only expensive but also seemed to exacerbate their issues rather than solve them.

Before finding Ollie, I could always tell when Bub and Simon weren’t feeling their best. They would have frequent poops, lie under the table, refuse to go outside, and become extra clingy. It was heartbreaking to see them like that, especially knowing how much their allergies contributed to their discomfort. Simon’s allergies were so severe that I have to give him allergy pills every day, hidden in a bit of peanut butter, just to keep his symptoms at bay. But despite all my efforts, I was constantly searching for a food that wouldn’t further irritate them and which wouldn’t work against the efforts of their anti-inflammatory and allergy medications.

Such a good boy.

After yet another round of switching foods, I came to Ollie. I decided to try their mixed meal plan, which included both frozen fresh food and gently baked kibble. The meals were thoughtfully prepared, and I selected a variety of recipes to give my boys some options: lamb with cranberries, chicken with carrots, turkey with blueberries, and beef with sweet potatoes for the fresh plan, as well as beef and sweet potatoes for the baked option.

From the moment the Ollie box arrived, I knew this experience would be different. Bub and Simon got extremely nosy as I opened the box, inspecting everything I pulled out and getting more excited by the second. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and I couldn’t wait to see how they would react to the food.

The difference was night and day.

Bub's skin is so much less red!

Almost immediately, I noticed improvements in Bub and Simon's health. Simon, who had been plagued with environmental allergies and constant itching, started to show signs of relief. The food was clearly working with his medication, not against it. His skin, which had often been red and inflamed, became calmer and less irritated. It was clear that Ollie was helping alleviate some of the surface-level skin inflammation that had troubled him for so long. Bub, who could be quite picky and had issues with runny stools, finally had solid stool and healthy digestion. The scratching, the discomfort, and the digestive upsets that had once been a daily battle were now severely reduced. This is a complete 180-degree change in lifestyle for me and my dogs. They are healthy, and I’m at peace knowing it.

What surprised me even more was how much they loved the food. Bub, who had always been fussy, now eagerly awaited meal times, and Simon, who eats everything, seemed even more enthusiastic. Their coats became shinier—far shinier than they had been in a long time—and I knew this was a sign of their improved health. Their energy levels stabilized. The best part? Ollie turned out to be more affordable than the premium brands I had tried before, which were costing me a fortune without delivering results.

Beyond the quality of the food itself, I also fell in love with the thoughtful design of Ollie's packaging. The tupperware-style container–the "puptainer" as Ollie refers to it–makes thawing their meals a breeze, and the ability to save any leftovers in it means nothing goes to waste. This level of convenience, combined with the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly what my boys are eating, has made a world of difference.

Today, Bub and Simon are the happiest and healthiest they've ever been. With Ollie, I’ve found not just a solution, but a long-term partner in caring for my dogs. Their days of discomfort are behind them, and I can finally relax knowing that I'm giving them the best nutrition possible.
