What's In The Kit?

There are three items:

1. Three sterile DNA collection test swabs
2. An information packet with easy to understand instructions
3. A self-addressed pre-paid envelope (Canada too!)

How Does It Work?

It's simple to do. Once you get the test kit, follow the 5-step instructions.

• Step 1 - Take two of the sample brushes out of the package. Be sure not to touch the ends.
• Step 2 - Place them in your dog's mouth between the gum and cheek. Pinch the cheek around the brush heads and twirl them for at least 10 seconds to get a good sample.
• Step 3 - Stand the brushes up in a cup for 10 to 15 minutes to let them dry.
• Step 4 - Take the third brush and do the same on the other side of the dog's mouth. Let it dry as well.
• Step 5 - Place the dried swabs back in the packet, seal it with the barcode sticker, and use the mailer to return them to us. That's it! To see how to do it, you can watch the instructional video here.

Is it difficult to take the DNA sample?

Taking the DNA sample is extremely easy. All you have to do is follow the easy to understand instructions and then place the sample in the Sleeve. You can refer to the video above to get an idea of how easy it is to take the sample.

How long does it take to get the results?
