Swimming pool water at a comfortable temperature could bring much more swimming pleasure. What if your kids want to enjoy above-ground pools and the pool water is not warm enough? The mini pool heat pump is the ideal heating solution for above-ground Pools such as INTEX or BESTWAY pools.
Are heat pump pool heaters worth it?

The Mini heat pumps are the new models of heat pumps available in the pool market. These heat pumps are installed very easily and do not require the previous installation and specify a By-pass.
• Save Energy
As we all know, the pool heat pump itself is very efficient to transfer heat from ambient air to pool water. With high efficiency and COP around 4.2-5.2, the ALSAVO mini pool heat pump is super energy saving to output up to 5.2 kW heat for the pool out of only 1 kW of electricity (when a pool cover is used). As much as 80% of the cost could be saved compared with an electric pool heater. A 4kw electric heater will use like 4kw electricity. It is a perfect substitute for the electric heater for above-ground pools up to 25m³. According to its relatively tiny body, mini heat pump is more easy to save energy and cost.
• Easy to use
The ALSAVO MINI Pool Heat Pump is very easy for end-users to use. Plug and play. Just plug the pool heat pump, turn it on and set your desired pool water temperature. There is a digital display on the mini pool heater unit so you could set the operation parameters according to your preference.
Just simply press the up or down keys to set the pool temperature and the pool heater will maintain the set temperature once it is reached. And this pool heat pump is light weighted. You can install it independently, most of our customer , less than 5 minutes from receipt to use. So it is incredibly easy to operate for your pool.
• Quality Guarantee
Durable and long life span. The heat exchanging components of the ALSAVO mini pool heat pump is PVC & Titanium materials. It could withstand the swimming pool water including saltwater pools in long exposure (the salt concentration should be less than 0.50 %. The Titanium tube of the pool heater is twisted with more heat exchanging area, which contributes to the efficiency of the pool heat pump. The new patent design mini pool heat pump is very durable with reliable quality, which is rust and weatherproof.
• Easy Installtion
The ALSAVO mini pool heat pump can be installed easily and straight forward, previous installation or specific by-pass is not required. Connect the pool heater to the existing pool pipework, and the pool circulation pump pumps the pool water through it. And for the simple installation, can be carried out at any time, only minimal maintenance may be needed.
The mini pool heat pump is very economic and effective. It could be equipped in many different types of pools such as composite, wood, steel, or inflatable pools. The range of the ALSAVO mini pool heat pump is composed of 4 models including 2.5kw, 4.5kw, 5.5kw, 6.5kw for pools up to 25m³. It is designed for outdoor installation in a ventilated area.
• Budge-friendly
The pool heating system that you choose can make a significant difference on the operating costs of your pool. Use the table below to compare heating methods and costs.
How a Mini Heat Pump Pool Heater Works
As the pool water circulates through the pool pump, it passes through a filter and the heat pump heater. The heat pump heater has a fan that draws in the outside air and directs it over the evaporator coil. Liquid refrigerant within the evaporator coil absorbs the heat from the outside air and becomes a gas. The warm gas in the coil then passes through the compressor.
The compressor increases the heat, creating a very hot gas that then passes through the condenser. The condenser transfers the heat from the hot gas to the cooler pool water circulating through the heater. The heated water then returns to the pool. The hot gas, as it flows through the condenser coil, returns to liquid form and back to the evaporator, where the whole process begins again.
Heat pump pool heaters work efficiently as long as the outside temperature remains above the 45ºF–50ºF range. The cooler the outside air they draw in, the less efficient they are, resulting in higher energy bills. However, since most people use outdoor pools during warm and mild weather, this usually isn’t an issue.
