Why being socially high-value is only for stars and royals

Everyone not being a celebrity or a royal is socially medium-value, not sorry to say the ugly truth!

Hello everybody,

How are you? I hope you are doing great.

Today is Friday 27h of January 2023. I wanted to talk about the trend that is on YouTube for example about being a high-value man or woman. Please don't get me wrong with the title of this article on Vocal : you are valuable, everyone has an intrinsic inner social value in him or herself, but...for the moment, we are not equal in social status. Let us bring to your attention the place of women in our society for one second. Currently women in certain countries are still inferior to men and even in developped countries like Canada where we have the Charts to protect women's rights; some women are still submissive to their husbands. Nevertheless, that subject is for another time. Let us go back to the beginning meaning only stars and royals are socially highly ranked.

When an auction is going on for example, if the artist was well-known, his or her artwork could sell for millions. If you were a Mister or Miss of everyday life, the public will recognize you as such a person of social low-value and your sale might not happen at all. Why the jewels of Elizabeth Taylor were sold to an extremely high price, millions of dollars? Because she was a real high-value woman during her lifetime. She was Hollywood kind of royalty even if not being a real princess or true queen; she was offered her own tiara by one of her many husbands : The Mike Todd Diamond Tiara. She had fame and money which are the two key ingredients for being a socially high quality person.

Now, I suppose you are going to tell me that being wealthy is enough. One doesn't need to become famous to raise his or her social value. Well, you are wrong. Being famous without money is enough to be a socially high value person because for example you might be remembered by the future generations let us cite Martin Luther King Jr. Much activists like him are socially high-valued even when they might end up in jails. But rich people without the fame are surprise, medium-valued by the society. And sometimes poor people or middle-class persons can be medium-valued too if they have a great personality, great personal values and meaningful relationships. The good news are that if you are low-value, you can increase your social value to medium or high value. Once you reach the desired social status, if you are medium-value, it can decrease due to certain circomstances unfortunately but if you become high-value, what is great is that you can never go back to being low-value again even if Cancel Culture exists.

Let us explain now why being only rich makes you socially medium-valued. Do not forget that most people have prejudices about money, according to them (and the Bible) : money is the root of all evil. Fortunately, money gives some social power to the one that possess it and being rich with problems will always be better than being poor with problems. All this reasoning comes to the conclusion that if you went from rags to riches, you did increase your social status. Congratulations, you are now very socially valuable instead of being simply socially valuable or extremely socially valuable.

Don't let those social discoveries discourage you. Even if you are considered by some peers to be a low-value maybe because of some ugly personality traits of your own; you are still socially valuable. I don't know if you heard about "The Social Contract" book written by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. If you didn't hear about Du contrat social, I suggest that you read it of course in case that you can read French also. It talks about equality between citizen and blame the exploitation of certain people by others through organized work. But it is very possible that you've been in touch with that book because many French-speaking schools teach it in high-school, in Colleges in philosophy classes or because the author is famous.

Thanks for reading me, please leave a tip if you want too to support my writing. It will be very appreciated. Have a good day and take care.
