The Daring Dreamhouse

Every single person has a dream of a forever home. A forever home is a place that we want to spend the rest of our lives living. This is a secure place where the rest of the word can not harm or touch us. Sometimes our dreams of that home expand out to a bigger area as we grow older. If someone were to ask me as a kid what my dream home would be then that would be a very different answer than I would give now. The person that I have grown into over the years has that dream expanded out to reach the place I would like it to reach. My dream home is another world altogether of its own.

My dream home would be found a bit odd by some people. While the word odd falls on some people's lips another word comes into other's minds. What is that word you might ask? That word is terrifyingly exciting reaching out in different directions while surrounding that same word being terrifying. My dream house would be a larger rectangle home with a double full wrap around porch on the first and second floor. A lookout tower that reaches out of the middle of the house. A seat to climb out on the outside of the tower window. The seat would be attached to a small wood floor where a table would be attached to it. I would have a secure glass wall around this area.

Even the painting of the house would be unlike other homes. Instead, of just plain paint and nothing more my dream house would have paintings made special by artists and myself. Inside the paint would be covered in quotes in some areas and poetry in others. The house would be surrounded by a camouflaged painting that looks like everyone is stepping into a mouth. Below the mouth, it would look like the ground just drops when actually there is ground there. Surrounding this would be a maze that leads out to a large lake or the ocean. Attached on the outer part of the house at the back left corner would be my very own movie drive-through. It would be an old school drive-through.

The house itself would contain secrets that others would have to discover on their own. The house would be connected to the other buildings. The first building would be a very large garden. The other two buildings would be the workshop and garage. There would also be a pathway made of sand that leads up to the house. The sand would go in lines and be all colors, not just one. The black sand will create circles within all the rest. It would be covered so that it is not tracked away everywhere else. The house will also an opening to the pool that stretches starts as a full rectangle then at the tip stretches up toward the ceiling. The stretched pool would be making it look like a waterfall with the water falling down.

This is my dream home with a few different changes that do not match other dreams. It is my dream home while it is a terrifying dream for others to live in. They would not be considered our own personal dream home if we all had the same look-alike dream home. What secrets would your dream home hide in plain sight surrounding or inside?
