1. Clean the Work Stations and Meeting Rooms

  • Replace the paper towels, bathroom soap, and other frequently used items.
  • Clean the toilet and sink and disinfect them afterward.
  • Clear the watermarks from the mirrors by using a cleaning liquid and use the same one to clean the bathroom windows.
  • Disinfect the sink taps and toilet taps along with the hand dryers.
  • Mop the tile floors with a damp cloth or floor mop, and make sure to keep the floors cleaned every day.

5. Disinfect Frequently Used Areas

To avoid the spread of diseases, you must regularly disinfect the offices' areas that remain in contact with the majority of the people.

  • Doorknobs are at the top of the list and must be disinfected regularly.
  • Bookshelves are second on this list, and books present on these shelves must also be part of disinfection.
  • Switchboards should be cleaned first before disinfection.
  • Chairs and desks of meeting rooms should be disinfected. If the employees change their workstations, they must be disinfected before the swapping process.
  • Workplace equipment like computers, lamps, and stationery must also go through the disinfection process.

6. Take Precautionary Measures to Control the Spread of Germs

Health hazards awareness should be a part of your workplace cleaning checklist in order to reduce the spread of germs in your office. You must take a practical approach to the well-being and safety of your employees.

  • Clean the window sills and rails so that the environment inside the office remains free of dust during natural ventilation.
  • Clean the exhaust fans inside the bathrooms on a regular basis.
  • Vents should be checked and cleaned thoroughly.
