Manhood is more than just lifting weights and appearing strong and bulked up. Manhood is being in-charge, having the mental capacity to make tough decisions, leading by example, being ethically upright, and ultimately being extremely disciplined in your purpose. The 48 laws of power are a perfect guide towards reclaiming masculinity. Below are a few of the laws and how they should be implemented.

Never outshine the master: Avoid drawing attention to oneself and instead focus on supporting and serving those in positions of power.

Conceal your intentions: Keep your plans and motivations hidden from others to maintain an element of surprise and maintain the upper hand.

Use the surrender tactic: Appear to give in to others in order to gain their trust and cooperation, and then use that trust to achieve your own goals.

Get others to do the work for you: Delegate tasks and responsibilities to others in order to conserve your own energy and resources.

Make your accomplishments seem effortless: Do not advertise your own achievements, but rather let others discover them on their own and attribute them to your natural talent and ability.

Use flattery to disarm: Compliment others in order to win them over and lower their defenses.

Confuse and distract: Use misdirection and confusion to distract others from your true intentions and keep them off balance.

Control the options: Limit the options available to others in order to increase your own influence and control.

Get others to play with the cards you deal: Set the terms of engagement in any situation in order to increase your chances of success.

Win through your actions, not your arguments: Use your actions and deeds to speak louder than words and win others over.

Avoid the unhappy and unlucky: Surround yourself with positive and successful people, and avoid those who bring negativity or bad luck.

Use selective honesty and generosity: Be generous and honest when it serves your interests, but be cautious about giving too much away.

Use the 'take away' technique: Withhold something valuable in order to increase its perceived value and make others more willing to cooperate.

Play on people's need to believe to create a cultlike following: Appeal to people's desire to belong and to have a sense of purpose in order to gain a loyal following.

Crush your enemy completely: Show no mercy in defeating your enemies and completely eliminate any threat they pose.

Use absence to increase respect and honor: Use distance and scarcity to increase demand and make others value and respect you more.

Maintain your connections: Keep in touch with those who can be useful to you and cultivate strong relationships with them.

Do not build fortresses to protect yourself: A defensive posture can make you seem weak and vulnerable, and can also limit your options.

Know who you're dealing with: Do your research and gather as much information as possible about the people you are dealing with in order to gain an advantage.

Use the surrender tactic: Appear to give in to others in order to gain their trust and cooperation, and then use that trust to achieve your own goals.

Play on people's need for appreciation: Use flattery and praise to win others over and make them more willing to cooperate.

Use the 'shotgun approach': Spread your efforts and resources thin in order to increase your chances of success.

Concentrate your forces: Focus your efforts and resources on a single goal or objective in order to increase your chances of success.

Play the perfect courtier: Use charm, wit, and flattery to ingratiate yourself with those in positions of power.

Re-create yourself: Constantly reinvent yourself and your image in order to stay relevant and keep others off balance.
