Not your typical gifts guide

So even though at Christmas every one feels the pressures at some point about gift giving. For some its a worry about affordability, is it good enough? or just in general we have no idea what to get. Some where in the middle of all this stress, it is easy to forget that there are no standards and we forget to be grateful for what we get. We worry to much about the reaction than the kindness of the action itself. Then we wonder why the next generation becomes demanding in more, bigger and expensive gifts. Yes this varies from person to person, but we all have those people we come across some where. For me I stick to my own roots, which was to be grateful for what you get and what you have.

I am also against the whole going over the top for Christmas and making sure the presents are fancy and have a big label. If some one does not like your act in the first place, then simply place them on your naughty list for next year. That would be my best advise anyway, I see it all the time where others panic over the recipient not thinking its enough or to cheap.

So for my Christmas guide, as I am all for supporting independent people at this trying time, I will be focusing mine on unusual and handmade gifts. After all I believe the more quirky or unusual, are the better remembered ones and brings more laughter to the memories. Also the sites I have inserted links for have plenty more ideas where these ones came from.

Ideas:

1. Do you have someone that is obsessed with candles like to the point they collect them, and thrive on having that one in the collection that others wont have?. How about thinking about getting them a Christmas tree candle, beautifully decorated, perfect for those candle collectors and those who are all about the décor.

2. Do you know someone who is a jewellery wearer? and always has that little bit of extra something added theirs, that makes every one admire and just have to ask where they got it. Well check out this beauty.

3. Maybe there is a special someone on your list that is a star wars fanatic? If that's a yes then why not get them this clock that is just stunning and will be their pride and joy.

4. Is there a forgetful person in the house?, always coming home and dropping down their keys or phone and losing them. This station should be of use and a life saver for them.

5. Know a bunny lover?. If you do this would be perfect and humorous and definitely a winner.

6. Now every one has got to come across that someone who loves stationery and maybe loves witchy vibes.

These are just a few ideas of some different gifts others may not think off initially. But like stated above these sites have tons to choose from, in my point of view I would personally go with 'find me a gift' site. They are more affordable than the others but they a wider range of stuff as well. I always recommend such sites when there is someone that complains, they do not know what to get that one person who doesn't want anything. They are also very handy, if your buying for someone who is not into the brands and popular trends at the time.
