Netflix VPN - What VPN is the best for watching Netflix?

Netflix VPN

It’s almost impossible in this day and age to not be at least somewhat acquainted with what VPNs are. Long story short, VPNs have existed in parallel to Netflix and similar streaming platforms, but their paths haven’t crossed until people realized that Netflix streaming services aren’t ‘universal’.

If you feel confused about this, let us put it this way – there are ‘numerous’ versions of Netflix platforms, each being based on different countries and markets.

For example, people in Germany get a much different selection of shows in comparison to what people over in Balkan States have in terms of Netflix shows; French people don’t get to enjoy the same shows as Italians, and so on and so forth. The ‘original’ Netflix is American, and you’ll be able to access it in two ways – by being in America, or by using a good Virtual Private Network.

Why do you need a Virtual Private Network connection for Netflix?

Simply put, you’ll need a VPN for Netflix because of the geo-blocks Netflix puts up to prevent and deny access to foreigners.

VPN Netflix allows you to ‘disguise’ your IP address as if you were physically in America; this means that you’ll be able to gain access to the original Netflix directories and libraries, which further means that you will be able to browse through the most versatile catalog of Netflix shows.

The Netflix VPN is the simplest, most straightforward solution, although it’s not the only option at your disposal. It is the safest and possibly the only legal option, though, so we recommend sticking with that.

Geo locks or Geo Blocks

Netflix keeps their libraries ‘locked’ based on geographical blockades. Basically, Netflix is in constant dialog with other countries in terms of that they are forging contracts – Netflix is issuing licenses to other countries, who receive the right to emit those shows. There isn’t a single country in the world that is interested in the entire Netflix catalog, and only USA has ‘access’ to all the shows (since they’re all coming from there).

However, this doesn’t mean that there is no way of accessing the original Netflix library from any other country; it’s quite the contrary. What’s most important is that this solution is absolutely legal – using pirating software or proxies is not, so we highly advise against trying such things.

The only legal way to access the original Netflix library is to start using VPN services. If you’re not too familiar with how VPNs work, let’s get to it.

What is VPN and how it can help you watch Netflix shows?

Basically, VPNs offer a plethora of benefits, the most important being that they hide your IP address completely. Since the system can’t ‘read’ where you are from, it will immediately assume that you’re from America; this means that you will immediately bypass all geo-blocks and geo locks, which means that you’ll be able to watch all the Netflix shows you want for as long as you keep using VPN.
