My Amazon House Purchases

Amazon has become my single most used on the App Store. 90% of the time I am not even shopping I am just scrolling through products, but one day my husband stated “I have not used this account so much since we got married”. Okay, confession I have used Amazon quite a bit, but that means I can give my honest opinion. By using these Amazon affiliate links you can purchase these products too.

1. Bed frame: as a newly wed couple we needed a new bed frame because our bed squeaked so much that I would wake up at night and vice versa. I am so happy with it as it comes with a handy charging station above your head and fancy lights too with fun colors and modes. The instructions on building the bed frame were at times confusing and not very clear. I personally give it a 4/5 rating because of the experience building it. However, looking at other furniture sites this was the best priced one! It comes with super handy drawers underneath the bed too, which helped out our storage space a ton.

2. Nightstands: Before getting the bed we bought some really nice nightstands, they match the color scheme of the bed and it fits our room nicely. It comes with a drawer, and I bought baskets to go under the drawer. Setting it up was easy. However. The drawers are enough for three medium chapter books to fit in and that’s it. Due to lack of space, I give is a 3.5/5 rating:

3. A colander: This one is fantastic I use it on a daily basis I wash everything in it and I strain my noodles as well. It is a more expensive one, but it was on my wedding registry, and I am glad someone bought it for us to make my life easier 5/5:

4. A wine opener: this is a quality wine opener for sure, it's so easy to use and it seems very durable, my husband enjoys using it for any bottle of wine we get. I rate this at 5/5:

5. A transparent cutting board: I love this product, it makes cutting things so easy as I do not have to store it anywhere, it sits on my counter all the time and it's so easy to clean. However, you can see every knife scratch that you ever made so with that I give it a 4/5 stars:

6. A Brita water filter: This is such a game changer when it comes to drinking water, we keep it in our fridge and I love the tap that it comes with, so you can have easy access to water at any time. It does take up space in our fridge, but given it is tall and thin; it is totally worth it I give it a rating of 4.5/5:

7. Tablecloth: This is such a neutral tablecloth that goes with anything, we got two of them one for our coffee table and the other for our dining room table, however given the off-white beige color I do not recommend you have this, if you have children because of that I give it a 3.5/5 stars:

8. Bakeware set: this bakeware set comes with everything you need, so you could go to the dollar store, but the quality of the bakeware set is very good. overall satisfied giving this a 4.5/5 stars:

9. Trivets: These trivets are nice cool colors and they come in different sizes, they are cloth and easy to wash because of it, but they do have white, which is hard to keep clean. I think I should have gone with cork instead because they are not very solid, so I will give this a 3/5:

10. Dish set: This dish set is so much fun, I love the color that it comes in and they are great for daily dishes! it comes with mugs and matching bowls, and plates. There is only one con with that, which I had not thought through, the shape of the plates and bowls are not easy to put away because you have to match the shape exactly otherwise, your cabinet will look messy. 4.5/5 stars:

11. Drinking glasses: This is a basic need, and these are so great because they hold so much water, I know I will never be dehydrated with these glasses. Rating: 5/5

12: Dry bathmat: This bathmat comes in so many great colors, however the size is smaller than expected, but it is quick dry, and it looks really good in our bathroom, we did however need to get another one because of how small it is, due to this issue 2.5/5 stars, which is such a shame. I feel that if owned a shower with no bath it would be great:

13. Glasses with bamboo lids and glass straws. I do not know what it is but i love drinking from a straw and these glasses are so pretty and cute with the bamboo lids, I love it and you can see your pretty drinks when you make them, I use these more than regular drinking glasses for the straw, it also comes with a pipecleaner, but dishwasher works great too. Rating: 5/5

14. Cutting boards: these bamboo cutting boards are great, when I do not use my acrylic board, I use the wooden ones all the time, they are easy to use and clean, but they are heavier than expected. Rating 4.5/5 stars

15. Electric salt and pepper shakers: These are so great to have in the house, it's so much fun to use! However, you need so many batteries to keep it going, but it gives me the perfect amount every time. I find that grinding the salt and pepper gives more flavor. Rating 4/5:

16. Suitcases: My husband and I at least travel once a year and neither of us had our own suitcases until now: these are so great, each suitcase has the right amount of storage space with all the right number of pockets, and I am so grateful for these. 5/5 rating no questions asked:
