Depending on where you are located, there is a good chance that you have been told to stay at home in an attempt at preventing the COVID-19 virus from spreading further. While this is something of an inconvenience, it is something that we must all do our best to get through in the hope of preventing others from catching it.

One of the main issues that some of you will face is nothing more than boredom. Being locked up at home all day can get boring to say the least. This is why we have come up with a number of different things that you can do to pass the time.

Workout from Home

As well as boredom, being locked down limits the amount of exercise that we are getting. Well, by working out at home you can kill two birds with one stone. You will find numerous workouts in places like Youtube. These will all be workouts that you can do without the need for any additional equipment. You can stay fit while also filling some time when at home.

Do Some Odd Jobs

Previously, you might have had the time to do some general fixes or improvements around the home. Well, now you have all the time in the world so why not get them done? Go fix that leaky tap, clean out some junk in the garage or go and put up some shelves. You get to have something to do and you will also put a stop to being asked to do these jobs by your partner.

Play Mobile Games

Those of you that are are fortunate enough to own a Playstation, Xbox or PC computer that is good enough to play games will probably be spending your time on games you previously wished you had more time to play. However, for the rest of you, you will probably have to be content with mobile games.

You might be thinking that you can only play puzzle games such as Candy Crush or farming style games like Farmville but games have come on a lot in recent years. PubG, Fortnite and Call of Duty all have mobile versions of their game. These are all free to download and play and offer great graphics.

Enjoy Streaming Sites

One of the more obvious things that you can do is start to watch streaming sites such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer or Dazn. Sure, you might get eventually get bored even by watching too many movies, shows or sports events but at least having the option to do so will curb your boredom a little.

Summing Up

It is a testing time for all of us right now and boredom is the least of our worries. That said, there are still plenty of things you can do around the home to lessen that boredom. Whether it is watching streaming sites such as Dazn ao Vivo, getting around to the odd jobs that we previously had no time for, or working out at home, there is always something that can help us to keep busy.
