Insomnia, Instagram and Some Great Products

I am a chronic insomniac and despite my best efforts I usually end up at 3 a.m. Well, due to my insomnia, it’s no surprise I have made a few purchases advertised on Instagram. Of course, they always seems to know what I like to buy but I have to admit they have put me on to some pretty great products. The following are a few of the products advertised on Instagram that I have purchased and that I would highly recommend:

Splendid

I’m not exactly sure when I first noticed this company on Instagram but I really love their clothing. It is called Splendid. They sell a variety of items, like shirts, pants, lounge wear, accessories, etc. They have products for men, women and children and they even have products for the home. The reason I like their products so much involves comfort and quality. I first fell in love with their tee shirts. They are so soft and comfortable! They are not meant for sleeping but they sure are comfortable enough to wear to bed. Because of their comfort I next purchased a robe and it is just heavenly. Again so soft and comfy. Since I pretty much have all colors of my favorite Splendid tee shirt I thought I might try something else to wear outside my home so I just recently bought some sweaters. I haven’t received them yet but I’m pretty confident I will love them too. Yes, their products are expensive but they are worth the price. Also, once you become a customer you will receive advance notice of sales. In fact, they just recently had 40% off the whole site without any exclusions. Many companies have sales but it always seems like what you want to buy is excluded.

Sonya Dakar

Another company I saw while on Instagram is Sonya Dakar, a skincare company. Again, the products are on the pricey side but well worth it. In some of the products they have smaller sizes, which you can try before investing in the full-sized products. I have to say these products have made a big difference in my skin. I am not young so I need products to combat aging skin. I tried the smaller-sized products pictured below and they work great. I recently placed another order because of how well these products work.

Molekule

Molekule is another product I bought after seeing it on Instagram. They make air purifiers. I have four dogs and I recently added a cat to the family so this really caught my eye. I wanted something on the smaller side so I can carry it around the house and they do have different sizes so this was perfect for me. I purchased the Air Mini+. Another advantage of the Molekule is that it helps to remove allergens. Although I don’t have severe allergies I do have mild ones so not only did it help with the pet odor it also helped with my mild allergies. So this product also gets the thumbs up from me. It is also not cheap but well worth the price and this is something that you will use for a long time. It is also worth mentioning that my Molekule Air Mini+ is Apple HomeKit-enabled which means I can control it with the Home app on my iPhone or iPad.

Charlotte Tilbury

I love Charlotte Tilbury's products and I have tried many different ones. Not only skincare products but also make-up. Because I am familiar with these products when I see a new product by Charlotte Tilbury I take notice. The product that I just recently saw advertised on Instagram was the Super Radiance Resurfacing Facial. It did not disappoint! It is a great product and it does what it says in the advertisement. A few other skincare products in this line that I have purchased and that have worked great are: Charlotte's Magic Cream, Magic Night Cream and Charlotte's Magic Serum Crystal Elixir. Some of the products are also available in smaller sizes in case you want to give them a try before purchasing the full-sized products.

Anatomie

This is the most recent product that I found advertised on Instagram and I just received the pants I ordered a few days ago. They are a very light weight cargo paint. I wasn’t sure about how they would fit but I can report they are pretty much true to size. They are comfortable and I will wear than both casually and for semi-formal events. Again, they are expensive but they are well made and I anticipate wearing them for many years to come. A pair of black pants never go out of style. Anatomie also sells other clothing like jackets and tops. They advertise that they are "The only Luxury apparel brand with a pant Lifetime Warranty" and it is outlined on their website what qualifies for this warranty. One quick point, shipping was super quick. I received them in about 2 to 3 days after I placed my order.

In conclusion, it is no fun being an insomniac but I guess one good thing that comes with it is purchasing some pretty great products. I have seen some products on Instagram that didn’t seem very helpful so it is important to make good decisions especially at 3 a.m.! It can be tempting to buy things that you do not need, that are of not great quality or that are not worth the price. It is also important to remember the old saying “If it seems too good to be true then it probably is”. If you find the products I outlined above interesting I would suggest you first check out the websites and read the reviews before making a purchase because what is a great product for one person is not necessarily a great product for another person.
