I'll Help You Decide

You take a satisfying sip of your favorite beverage while resting in your preferred position. After wiping some crumbs off of your face you begin to reach out your hand to grab the remote. Just before you grab it you notice a substance of some sort on one of your fingers. Without thinking about it you bring your hand back towards yourself and wipe it on your shirt. For those of you who just cringed, you may envision that you wipe your finger with a clean tissue from a tissue box that just so happens to be nearby. Now that your hand is clean you reach your hand back out for that remote. At that moment a decision must be made and you ask yourself, "What do I watch next?"

Maybe you have at least one kid next to you to give an excuse for why you were watching "The Lego Movie" or "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part". Don't act like you haven't done that before! I watch animated movies and shows with my fellow adult friends all the time. If you like animated movies such as "The Secret Life of Pet's" or even "The Lego Movie", then you should definitely give "Wreck-It Ralph" and "The Croods" a try. Filled with sentiment and teachable moments "Wreck-It Ralph" is a must-see. Through the lead characters, the film teaches that our flaws and imperfections are all an important part of what makes us amazing. It speaks towards a heart of accepting oneself for who you are and realizing that being confident in yourself despite what others may see as weaknesses can be a beautiful thing. "The Croods" on the other hand is a whimsical journey that is loaded with the encouragement that life is meant to be lived and that sometimes we need to try new things especially when we are afraid.

I am not the type of person who prefers just one genre and thus many of my favorite movies and series are seemingly all over the place. So, for now, I will move on to Korean dramas! It is such a sweet and romantic series and I was inspired to watch it again. If you love Korean dramas then you should give "My Love From the Star" a try. I have many friends who love Sci-Fi and so do I. If you like watching series such as "The 100" or "Westworld" you may want to check out "Humans". This binge-worthy 3 season series will keep you engaged and wanting more until the end.
