By The Artistic SoulPublished 2 years ago 6 min read

It isn't as simple as having some good pins and following people who like to shop- there are steps you must take to successfully monetize your Pinterest account. In this article, we'll go over the best ways to make money on Pinterest, whether you're just starting out or have been pinning for a while.

Even if you're not looking to make money on Pinterest, these tips will help you have a better experience and drive more traffic to your site!

Making Money on Pinterest

To make money with Pinterest, you don't need a website or a blogging platform. There are numerous ways to earn money simply by posting your favorite pictures if you have an account and find things that inspire you. Of course, we're not talking about anything illegal here. Here are some suggestions for monetizing your Pinterest account.

Promote the products of others. All you need is a little information about who sells what and where to buy it, and then you can pin their products as affiliate links to your board. The more pins you add and the more likes/comments they receive, the more likely it is that potential customers will click through to buy those items because they appear popular!

There are numerous websites that provide these affiliate services, including Amazon's Affiliate Program, and will pay you if someone purchases something through one of your links. Of course, you could always sell your own creations — whether it's something from Amazon or something you made yourself!

3 Ways To Earn Money From Pinterest Without Having A Blog

Pinterest can be monetized in three ways. Affiliate marketing, sponsored pins, and selling your own products are all ways to make money. Using all three strategies at the same time can help you make a lot of money.

Affiliate marketing is when you promote a company's product and are paid a commission for each sale you make. If your readers adore something you mentioned in one of your pins, an affiliate link could be an excellent way to drive sales back to that product or site! Sponsored Pins — By paying a fee to Pinterest, brands can advertise directly to Pinterest users.

In exchange, their pin is displayed at the top of relevant boards and/or user feeds. With more than 70% of online purchases now beginning with a Google or Pinterest search, these ads are extremely effective at driving traffic back to brands' websites and increasing conversions. Sell Your Own Products — Creating your own products (eBooks, courses, etc.) is actually quite simple once you know how!

Pins can earn you $1,000 per month.

Earning money from Pinterest may appear to be impossible, but it is not. Indeed, there are dozens of ways to earn $1,000 or more per month by using Pinterest as a source of income. We've compiled a list of 7 simple ways to monetize your Pinterest account so you can start making money right away. Let's get this party started!

1. Promote Your Own Products You're probably aware that affiliate marketing is one way to make money on Pinterest. You promote products and services in exchange for a commission with affiliate marketing.

If someone clicks on your link and purchases something, you will receive a percentage of their purchase price ranging from 5% to 50%. This is how many bloggers make a living online — and how many people have made $1,000 or more per month from Pinterest alone.

For example, if you're an avid DIYer with a large number of completed projects, why not sell plans and tutorials? Offer meal plans and recipes in exchange for commissions if you're an expert at cooking healthy meals without sacrificing flavor or taste.

5 Steps to Obtaining Your First Sponsored Pin

To make money on Pinterest without having a website or a large following, start with sponsored pins. Here are five pointers to help you get your first one. The simplest way to start making money on Pinterest is to become an affiliate for existing brands and products.

However, if you want to test your own product or brand, there are still options available to you. Instead of creating an affiliate link for an Amazon piece of jewelry, create an affiliate link for your own Etsy shop that sells similar pieces of jewelry (and don't forget to use high-quality images!).

Another option is to use Google AdWords (which costs $5 per day) to display text ads in front of relevant users and track how many clicks they generate. It may not seem like much at first, but every little bit counts!

Utilize the Promoted Pin feature to earn more money from your pins.

Group boards are communities of pinners who share and repin each other's pins, giving their content a boost and potentially reaching a new audience. Essentially, group boards allow you to get your content in front of more people than pining or repinning alone. Group boards can be an effective way to attract new fans and convert them into followers (or customers).

Group boards have been around since 2011, but they've only recently gained traction as a way for bloggers and brands to gain exposure. When you're ready to start a new Pinterest board, consider creating a group first.

People are much more likely to participate when there is a specific theme or topic associated with it. After you've created your group board, consider using promoted pins to increase its visibility.

You can pay for sponsored placement on individual Pinners' feeds based on keywords, interests, topics, and demographics with Promoted Pins. When someone clicks through from a promoted pin to your website, you'll receive an impression credit, which will help you climb the Pinterest search results over time.

These credits also help ensure that your promoted pin reaches a targeted audience that is likely to be interested in what you're offering — resulting in higher click-through rates and better conversions!

When Is the Best Time to Promote Pins — When Should You Post?

When it comes to monetizing Pinterest, this is a common question. There is no simple answer to that question, but extensive research and basic science can help. Let's take a look at two crucial things you'll need in order for your post or pin to be shared. The first is involvement (likes, comments, re-pins etc.).

The second requirement for your post or pin is reach (how many people see it). You will make money if you have engaging posts with a large reach. If you don't have either of these, you won't be able to make money from your Pinterest account!

Engagement — When do people like/comment/repin on Pinterest? According to the studies we published here, there are four major times: 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. EST 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST 5 p.m. — 8 p.m. EST 10 p.m. — 1 a.m. EST How many people will see my post or pin? According to the studies we published here, there are three major times: 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. EST 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST 7 p.m. — 10 p.m. EST So, what does it all mean?

You should try to post between 6 and 9 a.m. est. If you want to reach a larger audience, post between 7 and 10 p.m. est. You can also try posting between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. est if you want more engagement; otherwise, stick to 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. est.

What Are Group Boards, and How Can They Help You?

Group boards are collections of pins from various users that are organized around a common theme. They differ from traditional boards in that they are managed by a group owner who invites others to participate and can be found under your board description under Pin Group Boards.

You can only create public or business (work) group boards, but you can be invited by anyone and remove yourself at any time. If you want to monetize your Pinterest profile, I recommend getting involved in group boards as soon as possible so that when people visit your profile and find information about how you can help them, they are much more likely to contact you! With hundreds of millions of daily active users, it's no surprise that businesses want to use Pinterest to market their products and services.

However, there hasn't been an easy way to make money with Pinterest since its inception in 2010. Until now, that is... Welcome to Pinmoney, my friends, the new tool designed specifically for marketers like you and me. We understand how difficult it is to work so hard to build your audience only to have someone else come along and steal all of your traffic!
