A little greenery can completely transform a space and change its energy unexpectedly. Especially when you want to change something in your home, but you can't afford to spend too much on new furniture, a few houseplants can work wonders.

Here is one of the simplest ways to give fresh air to your home, while enjoying a green corner.

However, if you have tried unsuccessfully to keep houseplants, then you should also consider that each room is at a different humidity level and the plants benefit from sunlight differently.

Another factor to consider when choosing plants for each room is the energy impact that plants can have on you.

When choosing plants for the room, you want to successfully combine the aesthetic part and the possibility to give the plants the conditions they need to survive.

Some houseplants have different needs in terms of sun exposure and humidity, so they will not withstand full sun, light, and large windows, no matter how much care you give them. Fortunately, there are enough varieties of plants suitable for any type of home and any style.

Here are the ideal plants for each room!

Living room / Dining room

Because you spend most of your time here, alone or with friends and guests, the space must be comfortable, friendly, and elegant. To combine all these three criteria, you do not need to invest in expensive furniture.

Opt for colorful and imposing plants that denote elegance and steal the eyes of all who cross your threshold. Philodendrons, cacti, figs, and begonias are the perfect plants for the living room.

They adapt easily to the light level that the camera can provide, they are durable and you only need to water them once a week, and in the case of the cactus - once a month!

Kitchen

Because it is a fairly small space with a high level of humidity, the kitchen raises some demands when it comes to choosing plants.

The most suitable are hanging plants, those that can be easily hung somewhere where they do not disturb the daily activities, and those that decorate the windowsill. Either way, they can enjoy the light all day long.

Excellent choices are herbs, dwarf lemon, parma violet, and begonia. Ivy and azalea are not only two beautiful plants, ideal for the kitchen environment, but also have unsuspected health properties: they purify the air, quickly absorb harmful volatile substances and reduce detergent odors, keeping the kitchen air healthy and dry.

They all enjoy a slightly humid environment, natural light and only ask you to pay attention once a week when you have to water them. However, keep in mind that plants grow beautifully and become more resilient when treated with love.

Bedroom

The bedroom should have a soothing and restful atmosphere. Because it is well known that plants have the amazing ability to absorb negative energies, stress and reduce anxiety by filtering toxins, they should not be missing from the room where you sleep. However, most people do not have plants in the bedroom at all.

The rubber shaft is ideal for the bedroom. Likewise, the bonsai and the jade tree restore your peace of mind and help you rest better! Don't underestimate the power of plants, they can change not only your house but also your life for the better! It is enough to water them once a week or every ten days and they do not need a sunbath.

Beyond their beauty, the fragrance, and the energy they offer to the home, through their color and simple presence, the plants also function as a source of oxygen, radiation filter, and chemical compounds, helping to purify the air. Plants should not be missing from the homes of people with asthma and other chronic respiratory problems!

Bathroom

Who said no plants are kept in the bathroom? On the contrary, the environment is so different from all the other rooms, where the light is not very abundant, and the very high humidity level are excellent conditions to grow the spectacular exotic plants.

Fern, spider plants, and bamboo are the most suitable. It requires very little watering when you notice that the soil is very dry. Otherwise, they will normally have the necessary humidity, without you having to take care of them.

The child's room

It is never too early to educate your child to love nature. Beautify his room with a few plants that he will take care of himself. The fact that he will have to follow them, wet them, and make sure they are well will make him responsible!

Find some small, colorful, potted plants that fit perfectly with the cheerful, multicolored atmosphere in your little one's room. You can start with begonia and a jade tree, to maintain the well-being of the little one and ensure a peaceful sleep. Don't forget: the pots must be as brightly colored as possible!

A house without flowers is an empty house … no matter how many other valuables it loads.

Not only from an aesthetic point of view but also for medical reasons, it is advisable to decorate your house with plants that you can treat with love as if they were part of your family.
