In construction, plumbing is an arduous task. One hazardous task in construction especially if its related to gas or tanks installation. The basic plumbing often refers to water supply installations but now it comes with a wide variety of tasks. Some plumbing task are:

● Installing or replacing faucets, sinks, showers, toilets, urinals, lavatories, bathtubs, mixing valves and any related things.

● Installing gas pipes and making sure it's safe.

● Installing or replacing appliances that use pipes or hoses like water heaters, dishwashers, ice makers, drinking fountains, water to refrigerators, and many more.

● Pipe leak repairs and replacing fitting or pipes.

● Sanitary and storm sewer repair and replacement.

● Waste pipes or traps stoppage removal.

● Fixing and installing cleanouts.

● Installing and repairing the heating system.

● For commercial plumbers, maintaining its water supply system, heating system and drainage system is their main task.

Safety as priority

For companies safety is one priority, so they often require insurance for their workers. Plumbers are not an exemption, there's an exclusive for them called Plumbing Insurance. This program protects them from any injury due to an accident and mishap.

Plumbers and plumbing contractors are protected by the liability coverage of the insurance, not only their life. Most plumbers prioritize safety for their clients while doing their job, and for them the insurance is their assurance as it says ‘safety is priority.’

How plumbing affects your daily life

The great role of plumbing in construction is often considered as a low quality job by many individuals who don't know the nature of its work. Yes, sometimes it is filthy especially when repairing or cleaning clogged drainages and cleanouts but bear in mind that in your lifetime you will need their service.

There will be a time that you will change your sink, change the pipe fitting of your heating system, or you may suffer pipe leaks. If you can’t do it yourself ,then you will need the service of a professional plumber. So, let's value the role of plumbers in our society.

What Is the Importance of a Plumbing License?

A plumber who does not have a license is equivalent to a sink that does not have a drain. If a plumbing contractor is engaged by a business, household, or contracting organization to undertake a certain task, he or she should always be properly licensed to do so. Those working in the plumbing industry must have a basic understanding of pipes and pipe materials as well as inputs and outputs, water pressure and flow pressure, as well a thorough understanding of piping design in order to succeed.

To become a plumber, you must put in many hours of study and pass a final license test that may be as challenging as any legal or medical licensing exam you have taken. As a vital certification and verification of the plumber's expertise and experience in the plumbing industry, it is required. It is not a good idea to choose a plumber who is not properly licensed. A plumber's plumbing license serves as an insurance policy for the plumber's ability to do plumbing work on a project site.

Value the worth of plumbers

Anyone can be a plumber. It does not require higher education or you do not have to attend universities to be a professional plumber. Though some universities offer training or short courses for this. Most plumbers are drawn by their enthusiasm and experience to become a professional plumber.

Others are skilled by their own experience, for this type of job can even be learned at home or in a self learning process like watching videos and reading related articles. Even girls can do it. It is also crucial to learn this task for emergencies. There are situations where we ourselves can do plumbing like fixing a sink clog wherein we don’t need to call a professional.
