It's time to whip out your coolest costumes and wear them with your gang. Halloween is right around the corner and quickly approaching. There are two days left until Halloween, so why not end this spooky season with a bang. You can not go wrong with group costumes. Whether you are pairing with a group of friends, your lovers, or family members, there is something for everyone to choose.

If you’re stressing about what to wear, wondering if you’ll be able to buy a costume, don’t worry. Perhaps your local Spirit Halloween store is sold out of costumes but, that’s okay. Each category for duos, trios, and larger groups will include an additional section for last-minute costume ideas. You can get artistic right at home from your closet. This will make things a lot easier and affordable. DIY will be your best friend too. I will be attaching YouTube videos so you can get a step-by-step tutorial on what to do with the last-minute costumes. I will also provide detailed descriptions.

And if you’re someone on the other side of the spectrum who is lucky to find a costume or already have one, I will include a regular section of outfits and characters to choose.

Last-Minute Duo Costumes

  • Salt and Pepper

The salt and pepper costume can be done in multiple ways. If you want to keep it quick and simple, one person will wear a white shirt and the other person will wear a black shirt. The white shirt will have the letter S and the black shirt will have the letter P. You can cut out the letter with colored paper that is black or white. Afterwards, you can glue the letter onto your shirt. With the hats you have options to use chef hats, paper plates, or aluminum round pans. You can mark the holes on the hat with markers, paint, or with cut out paper circles.

Then of course if you want to step out and be the life of the party, there's the other "Salt N Peppa".

  • Where's Waldo and Wenda

Waldo and Wenda almost look the same but the only difference is Wenda wears a denim blue skirt and red and white striped stockings. You can choose to wear Wendy’s outfit or throw on a pair of denim jeans with striped socks.

  • Teeth, Toothbrush, and Toothpaste
  • Mean Girls
  • The Three Little Pigs
  • S'more

Last-Minute Trio Costumes

  • Ice Ice Baby

This one is pretty punny and well worth the hype. I'd suggest watching the video since it would be a lot easier to explain.

  • Alvin and The Chipmunks

For Alvin and The Chipmunks you will need solid red, blue, and green t-shirts/pullover hoodies. You can draw the letter A on a yellow piece of paper and glue it to the red shirt or hoodie to mark it as Alvin. You can also wear a red hat. Simon who is blue, will need round glasses to wear. Lastly, you can add letters to the blue and green t-shirts/hoodies if you would like to.

  • The PowerPuff Girls

For the PowerPuff Girls, you will need a pink dress, a blue dress, and a green dress. You can use a black belt to put around your waist or cut out a black sheet of paper to glue around your waist as a belt. Lastly, you can wear white socks or stockings with black heels.

  • The Three Blind Mice

For the three blind mice, you have three options. To wear all white, wear all grey, or wear all black. You can style your outfit with black sunglasses, mouse ears, and a cane.

Here’s an overview on how to make the ears:

You can get creative and design the ears of your liking or match the ears with your outfit and paint the inside of the ears pink.

Last-Minute Group Costumes (4+)

  • M&M's

For the M&M's you will need yellow, green, red, brown, blue, and yellow solid t-shirts or hoodies of your choice. You can then write out the letter “m” on white paper and glue it on your shirt/hoodie. If you want to add an extra touch, some people match the color of their shirts/hoodies with their bottoms and socks.

  • Among Us characters

The simplest way to style an Among Us costume is to pick a solid color hoodie of your choice and use a face mask. You have. You can wear your hoodie normally and stretch the face mask from your eyes to your nose, or you can wear your hoodie backward and put your face mask on your face. Here’s an example:

  • Ghosts

A ghost is probably one of the easiest costumes to pull off. All you need is a white sheet and scissors. If you want to get more into detail with the eyes, here is a step-by-step video on how to do that.

  • The Purge

The last-minute purge outfit can be done by wearing almost anything. I’ve seen some people in suits, dresses, hoodies, oversized t-shirts, onesies, and other outfits. That part is up to you. Red paint or fake blood can be splattered over your clothes. With masks, you have an option to either buy a mask or do the led mask with neon glow in the dark face paint. Accessories wise you can grab a baseball bat, a knife, or a toy gun. Here's a few tutorials on how people paint their face for the purge:

• Squid Game Guards/Contestants

Although this may or may not be right in your home. The Squid Games costumes are quick to make and under $5. If you’re not too fond of creating the Squid Games costume, the regular outfits can be bought. Here’s a quick video:
