2020 may have thrown us a curve ball but, that doesn’t mean we still can’t celebrate the holidays in our own way! Are you looking for affordable and memorable gifts that will wow your loved ones this year? Check out these popular and affordable gift ideas.

Meaningful Themed Baskets

Who doesn’t love a basket full of goodies? Baskets are fun to create and easy to put together. Just pick a theme, a basket (Michaels sells baskets starting at $1.99) and throw in some goodies! You can get fancy with it by adding bows, plastic wrap, ribbons or tags. Here are some themes:

1. Hot Chocolate Basket

2. Coffee Lovers

3. Moscole Mule or Margarita Kit

4. The Bakers Basket

5. Spa Themed Basket

6. Tiger King Themed basket

7. Netflix and Chill

8. Sports Themed Basket

9. Dads that Grill Set

10. 2020 Survival Basket (don’t forget to include extra toilet paper)

Candle Creations

Not only do candles smell pleasant and look beautiful but, they are also affordable. You can fancy with it by create your own; using candle wax, essential oils and dry ingredients. My favorite is the tea cup candle which includes a gorgeous tea cup and your own candle creation. You can also use a mason jar or any container that is candle friendly

Mason Jar Gifts

Mason Jars are a personal favorite and they can be used for anything. In this case, you can create a meaningful gift using a mason jar. Here are some ideas:

1. A layered dessert mix using dry ingredients. Cookies, brownies and cakes are some of the popular hits! Don’t forget to add a cute label or tag to include directions on how to bake the dessert.

2. Create your own DIY holiday potpourri using dry ingredients. Not only is it pretty to look at but it also smells delightful!

3. You can’t go wrong with a jar full of small treats. Grab anything from soaps, sweets, masks and much more. Don’t forget to decorate the jar by adding your own personal touch. A ribbon or tag goes a long way.

Essential Oil Spray

Some call it room linen spray but, it can be used for so much more. Create your own essential oil spray by using an empty spray bottle, water and your favorite essential oil (lavender or orange are the most popular.) Here are some essential oil favorites:

1. Lavender: known to promote peace after a stressful day.

2. Orange: known as an antidepressant and may boost your happy spirit

3. Sandalwood: known to improve mood

4. Essential Oil Combinations are a fun way to create a memorable aroma. Pinterest is full of ideas and can help with creating a mixture that is memorable.

Wood Slice Family Photos

You can get crafty while also making an impression! All you need is a wood slice, printed photos and mod podge. You start by cutting the printed photo to the size of the middle of the wood slice, add some mod podge to the slice, next add it to the photo and then, press it down lightly. Use a brush to make it easier. These make for a perfect wall decor piece!
