Here are 20 ways of filling your empty notebooks. If you're like me and have tons of books that can't go to waste, this may be helpful for you!

Bullet Journal

This type of journal is one of the easiest ways of tracking your time, habits and others. It is also is a great way to organize your time in a creative way. The bullet journal is not only a system to make an efficient schedule, it is so much more. Make a system that works best for you and your schedule. For example, during the summer you might not have to make each day as you would during school. During that break you could write your plans for a week only and write tasks with the dates and time.

Diary

This one is not about schedules. If you have enough time you can spend it on write down thoughts such as:

  • Your feelings
  • Healthy changes
  • Your opinion
  • What you did for the day
  • Whatever you want!

Ideas

This is great for remembering little ideas you think of throughout the day. Here are some sections you might want to include in your idea journal:

  • Present/gift ideas
  • Social media post ideas
  • Room decor
  • Health tips (exercise routines, recipes, etc.)
  • Bullet journal (spread)
  • Sketchbook ideas

Bullet Journal Collections

Yes, you can have it separated from your bullet journal. It's useful for those who have small bullet journals and do not have enough space. Having bullet journal collections can make the process a little easier. Write down things like:

  • TV shows you watch
  • Books you'd like to read and ones that you want to read
  • Expenses
  • Goals for the year (or semester, month, week, or even life)

Wishlist

This notebook helps you set your goals, make a budget, and track your wishes. When you have some, write them down and analyze them. Write down the steps to achieve this wish.

Budjet Planner

Yes, a part of this is in your wishlist and in the bullet journal collections. Here, though, you can write the complete version of your budget plan. Here you can write:

  • Everyday expenses
  • Big unplanned expenses
  • Expenses you should save up money for
  • Summary

Travel Book

If you travel a lot, this is a good choice for you. Pictures from your trip are great to put in it. Other things you can include, but aren't limited to your emotions and tickets. Anything that will remind you of the atmosphere of the place is a good thing to include in this book. It is a good planner for your excursions.

"Thankful for..." Book

Here you write everything you are thankful for. This is a good way to show that good things—not only bad—have a place in your day to day life. Every moment of your life is worth living.

Writing Book

Are you a writer? You will need practice, like any skill needs. Write about the weather, describe the people, and tell a fairy tale. Put down the ideas, sentences, characters, and whatever else for your stories.

Study Planner

This can be useful for other things besides school. You can put in:

  • Study plan for the week/month
  • Plan for one lesson
  • What you should concentrate on
  • Lots of motivation

Draft

You can use this for all your rough drafts as well. Here, you do not need to be afraid of making a mistake.

It becomes much easier to find out what you would like to change in your life when you list your day to day activities. You can put in here things that relate to:

  • Health
  • Sport
  • Food
  • Mood
  • Habits

Here you can put in any new recipes that you find interesting and want to try. This is also great for integrating healthier options in your lifestyle.

Dream Book

In here, you write what your dream (or nightmare) was about, the meaning of it, and if the prediction came true. This is great for trying better your memory.

Statistics

To sum everything up, you need this notebook. You analyze (again) what you've done in different spheres of your life. When you see the revision of your life it becomes easier to understand what you need to fix.

Review Notebook

Here you write our opinion on certain books, TV shows, movies, games, etc. and write how you feel about them. This trains your writing skills and you learn how to express your point of view.

Quote Book

This is very useful for everything as it enriches vocabulary. You can find sites that have a quote of the day that you can write down and save.

Future Me Book

This a message for yourself in the future. You might have done this for school, but that doesn't mean that it still can't be relevant in your life!

Sketch Book

If you're an artist this will best suit you. Dedicate a page to drawings once a day for your practice. You will see your progress by the end of the book.

Stuff Book

This is the most messy of the notebooks. Here you express yourself, make notes, draw, and whatever your heart desires. Everything and nothing at the same time.
