Electronics
Apple MacBook Air with Apple M1 Chip
Something every college student needs is a good laptop. And this Macbook Air is one of the best. Apple's 2020 new M1 Silicon Mac, with amazing battery life, is the perfect pick.
Another Apple product, and is great for
- setting reminders
- tracking workouts
- monitoring your health
-calling
-swimming
It has a sleek design, seamless syncing with IOS devices, and an always-on display as well.
Garmin Vivosport
If you're looking for a cheaper fitness tracker, than here's the Garmin Vivosport. With daily fitness monitoring, great battery life, stress tracking, notifications, and many more features. The Garmin Vivosport is comparably much cheaper and has a lot of desirable features.
Seagate Expansion Hard Drive
We all know there's a huge amount of data needing to be stored in college. There's no way your day-to-day computer can handle all of that, so here's an external hard drive with 4TB of storage space. Portable, and really easy to use, it's an ideal fit for any college student.
Beats Solo Pro Wireless Noise Cancelling
These are quite on the expensive side ranging from $173-$299, but any noise-canceling headphones will do. This one, however, has great reviews and is from a trusty seller(Bose).
7-Port USB Charging Station Dock
Whether a college student has two or seven devices, chances are it'll be troublesome finding outlets. But with this, they don't have to! So get them this heaven-sent charging station dock.
Phone Cases
Technically these aren't electronics, so they deserve their own section.
A college student needs a phone case. Running late and accidentally dropped it, spilled coffee on it, dropped it in their food because they were so damn tired? Yeah, a phone case saves millions yearly.
Phone cases are a bit different to review since there are so many models and designs. So I'm just going to link a few websites where you can purchase phone cases.
Casetify is a well-known website in the phone case niche. From custom-made to ordering a print you love, these cases are sure to be protective. My mom bought one from them a few months ago and it's still beautiful and amazingly protective!
Amazon sells a variety of things, so no one's surprised that they sell phone cases as well. Maybe, when you're on there you'll find something else for that special college student. From silicon to military-grade protection, there's a case for everyone.
Where would we be without Etsy? I actually bought a transparent phone on Amazon, and stuck stickers on it I bought on Etsy. Which is also an amazing gift, more on that below.
Not only will you be supporting small businesses, but you know someone made these handmade just for you.
Shoes
Again, so many models and stores to buy them from. So I'll just leave these here, this way you can directly buy them from your college student's favorite store.
Custom-Made Gifts
I truly believe custom made gifts are one of the best. Not only are you supporting someone's aspirations, but you know this product was handmade and with love.
Knowing every time you looked at it, you had a part of something, someone spent their time creating.
Plus, there are some things that you can only buy custom-made. Like a custom-name necklace, stickers, art, earrings, etc. So check out Etsy, and Shopify for custom-made gifts!
Stationary
Who doesn't love stationary. You can always buy custom-made stationery, or from places like Amazon, Walmart, Daiso, Office Depot, Staples, etc.
There are always deals going on for students. But I would ask the gift recipient first, before you buy them anything, just in case they already have it.
PS. Post-it notes and cool pens are always welcome.
Indoor Plants
Having a little pot plant on my desk really increases my productivity. Just visit your local Lowe's or Home Depot's or maybe someone nearby is selling them. But I assure you, that college student's going to love a fresh and gorgeous plant. An inexpensive and beautiful gift.
