This is an article that I have written to provide you all with the latest legit work at home job. I encourage you to like and leave your comment.

(Pretty funny picture that I found. Leave a comment for the picture :) )

I have been doing a lot of research lately and I wanted to share this website with those who may be interested in having a writing position online, so with that being said, let's get started...

What is Quicktate: Quicktate is a transcribing company that handles voicemail messages, memos, letters and other documents. The voicemail message files average 1-2 minutes in length, while the other recordings are typically longer.

What are they looking for: Well, they are looking for people who wouldn't mind transcribing documents for their company, so below is a little more in-depth information on what Quicktate expects from its contractors.

  1. Accurate spelling and punctuation.
  2. Typists that know how to follow instructions.
  3. Typists that can listen to voice files and accurately type what they hear.
  4. Experienced and professional transcriptionists.
  5. Typists with their own equipment, supplies, facilities (office/ work space).
  6. Honesty, integrity and reliability.

"As an Independent Contractor, you can select your own hours that you want to work. You can work as few or as many hours as you want. They are open for business 24 hours/ day; 7 days/ week."

*In order to type for their company, iDictate, you must already have a Quicktate typist account which they will review to determine your qualifications to type for iDictate. The more Quicktate messages already typed, the easier it will be for them to evaluate your typing skills.

*If this is something you may be interested in, you'll need to make sure that you are a good typist, so practice writing often to broaden your skills.

Are they legit? Well from reading forums and getting information from Typists of Quicktate, I have been told that they are very legit.

What will I be paid? As an independent contractor of their company, it is all about how you work. I have been reading and some contractors make $14.50/hr, so I would say they are a very beneficial company to work for.

What are the cons? Well that depends on if you believe in having to pay in order to work. This site asks you to pay $20 in order to perform a background check on its potential transcribers, so if you are willing to invest that, you will be earning money!

I have invested the $20 because I wanted to see if the website was real, and its 100% legit! Now there is a little waiting process that takes effect to become a typist for their company. You have to have some experience in the transcription field, you need references, you must be 18+, and you also have to take an assessment test to see if you qualify and what languages you are proficient in, because you can transcribe for other languages as well. You have to answer some questions as to why you enjoy typing and why you want to offer your transcription skills to Quicktate.

Website: Quicktate.com

I hope that you all find this useful and I thank you for reading this. I encourage you to like this article, comment and share it with anyone you know who may be looking for work online.

I will have another article written most likely later on today or tomorrow about another transcribing website that I feel could be of use to others who would like to earn a few bucks, so stay tuned for whats to come!
