Why Are Most Resumes Rejected?

The CV is our autobiography in which our studies are presented, our address, our name, telephone number, e-mail address, present experiences, as well as previous ones, our skills (either communication or digital, either foreign languages) or our skills (organizational, social, technical, artistic), etc.
It highlights the experiences we have gained throughout our lives, whether they have been acquired in a formal context (school, university), non-formal (volunteering, internship), or informally (media, internet). It is a way of self-presentation in writing, in which personal and professional qualities are displayed attractively.
This document needs to be well-designed, so it requires a thorough introspection.
The most common mistakes in making resumes. Let's get straight to the action.
First impressions.
First impressions are very important; if your resume does not attract the reader's attention in the first 20–30 seconds then your chances are minimal. The employer has a hundred or even more resumes that you have to look at in just a few hours to make a selection. So, write the professional experience at the beginning of the CV, not personal or educational details, unless the information is not too much.
What a potential employer needs to know is why they should call you for an interview. For this reason, a summary of your skills and/or a list of the most important achievements may be a good idea. That should get the employer to call you for an interview - but be careful not to overdo it.
Bad presentation
The presentation of the CV is very important. Even if you consider that the language used and the way of presentation is good, if the interviewer does not find the desired information promptly he will move on to the next CV. You should use enough "empty" spaces in your resume, close headings, and breaks in sections.
Always use a grammar checker. Never use a typewriter because you will look old-fashioned and outdated. Use a quality A4 sheet, preferably 100 grams for both CV and cover letter.
CV length
It is very good if you manage not to exceed two A4 pages, in case you are not asked for a longer CV. If you can't fit in two pages, it means that you didn't understand the employer's requirements very well. They don't want to know your whole life - just to decide whether or not to call you for an interview.
Organizing information in the CV.
If your CVs are not structured correctly it will be difficult for the reader to read them and will not be able to quickly form an opinion about you. Remember that the reader will not spend too much time reading the resume - so if they don't discover fast what they are interested in they will not bother to look further.
Too long paragraphs and sentences
These make the resume difficult to read - try to write short and to the point sentences and use dashes or dots to highlight the titles of the subsections.
Too little information
Many people do not include enough information about previous jobs and experience, the employer does not have enough information and therefore tends to reject the application.
You are not results-oriented
You have to talk about your accomplishments. Don't forget that your CV is your offer to the employer. If he doesn't tell the employer why he has to hire you, then he has failed. An employer will only want to hire you if they discover its benefits. So tell him what his benefits are if he hires you.
Your resume makes you look too young/old for the job
In general, being too young/old can be a real problem and a barrier to your advancement, or even to getting a job.
Poor writing, editing, and grammar mistakes
Your resume should be carefully checked before sending it to the employer for such mistakes. Small errors in the CV detract from the value of a very good CV and make you look uninterested or careless - these are not exactly qualities you want to show to your employer. As you will not notice such errors, it would be better to ask someone else to check the CV for grammatical errors and punctuation.
