Did you think that at the end of the program, dozens of cluttered documents, unfinished files, writing instruments scattered around the desk, and messy threads hanging underneath or behind the desk would accompany you around town?

That would be unpleasant, wouldn't it? Even though disorganization is said to be the prerogative of creative people, being a generally accepted way of working, almost 60% of people form their opinions about a colleague, depending on how his office looks, sometimes choosing not to collaborate with him.

Most employees are affected by a lack of organization, losing an average of up to 60 minutes each day searching for information or documents, postponing tasks, and trying to work on multiple tasks at the same time.

Thus, the attention and efficiency decrease constantly during the day, the yield being reduced by up to 40% until the end of the program. Starting your day at a disorganized office and continuing the same throughout the day, will create a vicious circle.

So, if disorganization makes the law on your desk, we recommend that you break the vicious circle and apply some very simple and effective organizational solutions.

What to start with? Of course, with a clean and organized office. Sort your documents according to their type and importance. Use document trays and folders for organization. This way, you have immediate access to the documents you need constantly and you will always know where to look for them.

Bookcases, labels, and plastic sheets for archiving. All documents that you no longer need or are rarely used must be archived, organized, and protected. This way, they will not take up unnecessary space, you will find them immediately, and your work environment will look much better.

Use staplers, punches, mounting accessories, and document folders with confidence. This way you avoid losing tabs in your documents or inadvertently damaging them. You will reduce the chaos on the desk and instead of looking for good minutes, you will be able to present the requested document immediately.

Surely you've heard of the magic sticky notes and how they saved a colleague's workday. We have often been rescued from unpleasant situations or soaps due to unfulfilled tasks.

Use them too! No matter how you write down and where, it is important that your idea (maybe it will be an idea of millions, who knows?) Or your colleague's request is not forgotten. Stuck insight, you will not forget it and maybe, you will save someone's day!

Most people retain about 5% of what is discussed or communicated in a meeting. No, we are not defective, that's how our brain simply works.

Use a notebook or diary during partner meetings or team meetings. Write down your important ideas and index the information noted so that it is easy to find when you need it. By noting, you will fix your ideas in your mind and if you forgot certain information, you will find it immediately.

Multitasking and other demons (does that sound familiar to you?) Have been talked about. It's a new way of working in the 21st century and it's not always a good way. Even though we like to think that we can handle a lot of work at the same time, the truth is that we often lie down.

Could you drive a car while talking on the phone, extracting a report, writing emails, arranging payments, and eventually repairing the rear wheel and changing the car's oil filter?

Probably not, you will be able to do one or two tasks well, the rest is done "in half" or wrong. So, plan your day starting in the morning. Take each task one at a time and pay attention to it.

Prioritize important tasks, create a flow of activities and respect it. If you start the day with the heaviest tasks, you will have fresh energy to finish them without being discouraged. Your tasks will remain simpler and the rest of the working day will be easier and, implicitly, more beautiful. Good trick, isn't it?

Finally, about your well-being at the office. You can bring life, color, and optimism to your office, using accessories in cheerful colors, funny decorations, and of course, a room air freshener that will bring nature closer to you.

Don't forget to relax, socialize and enjoy what you do. You will have a good day at the office and you will go home with a smile on your face.
