Conversations with people are always a thing to look out for. Sometimes, they throw exciting insights and a basic questionnaire of what runs in a mind. When you are in a whole new place or amongst a new crowd, this exercise of conversations takes an intense turn, especially when you are an active cell.

Time traveling to afar - in the past few days, the latest of everything was about the workplace and work environment. The numerous conversations, to say 9 of 10 I had, in social media or through friends and associates, the work, and work-life took center stage among everything else.

What’s this data? For some, it is about their responsibilities; for few, it is to battle for the spotlight, and some, a question of survival, and there’s one last category, the play it all.

One common thing regarded as universal is a mixed school of thought in individuals, as we don’t exist in isolation, and the point where rationality comes in and the question of sanity.

The basic etiquette is to give the mind enough space to process the constantly coming in data. If you take away this right, it would be stressful, certainly.

Although I tend to hold a nerve cracking or an intense discussion with everyone in the town, I barely break down the day at home. But apparently, the home is home, and they give you insights whether you ask explicitly or otherwise. In one such conversation, they said that it’s not just about choosing what you talk about but also what you think, which holds greater importance. Impressions are etched in thoughts, and altering them isn’t an easy task.

A famous saying, “Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavati,” means “as you think, so you become.” I incline the ancient and mythological scriptures and lessons, so I always have an ear out for them. This saying has been inscribed deeper than anything perhaps. Also, a voice from within to make me understand about any path when you walk alone or defy the herd is not easy, and you have to on to it.

Some notions and mentions sit in your thoughts once you hear them, and the above instance was one such—also, the perks of a keen listener.

Rekindling with the data that we were talking about, all the people who come to work are humans unless disguised and a shapeshifter is present. Everyone goes through an ordeal of thousands of thoughts at a particular instance. Some come in with a new day, while some carry the baggage from the previous day. The art lies in managing them appropriately without dissing them off.

People who chase responsibilities own them. They have conscientious thoughts, and they feel it as a part of their own life. When you engage with these people, they play it bright and bold, with a scent of dedication and commitment. They know their avenues of strength and silently work on churning their weaknesses to become better. They don’t think of much of what’s a temporary stance.

The people who focus on having a spotlight are of a different genre. I haven’t understood this concept to date. When you attempt to own a spotlight, the first thing to impact is impressing the critics. The artificial effects wear off soon, but the genuine self stays and stays long. When this part is taken care of, everything falls in line. So the zillion dollar question that strikes is, why does one run for a spotlight when it is bound to come?

There are significantly fewer fingers who would feel indifferent and could draw a rationale over emotions. When combined with the society at large, emotions are a perfect quicksand (or a whirlpool if you’re a fan of oceans). They suck you deep inside if you don’t handle them appropriately. Sometimes, it is wondrous about how people engage with noise as the melodious music and fall prey.

Numerous times I have reminded myself of this and haven’t been bored of it. “Do not submerge your problems and stay afloat. You need to resolve one before moving to another. The more you leave the issues unattended and unresolved, they pile up and turn to a mountain. The lower spectrum of cases on hand undoubtedly takes time, but the sigh of relief they offer is humongous when resolved. A fundamental trait I have held onto since I can last recall an event in childhood.”

Since we have focused a lot on conversations in this short duration, to reiterate, some of the best conversations happen with oneself. The unresolved and not so understandable instances are many, and sometimes you are vulnerable when emotions take the lead, but it is then when you have to hold on to your breath pleasantly and request yourself to listen. You are unique, and so is yourself, which is a reason for it to oblige.

A while ago, one of the conversations was written off on face when this particular topic about easing yourself for listening came up. The primary reason for such a view and nonacceptance is immersing yourself in beliefs without questioning, and when such a thing pops up out of the blue, people tend to refuse adamantly.

With this, I leave it at your step to give you ample amounts of time to think!!
