In 1990, a young man who graduated from Beijing Aerospace University applied for a job in Fuyao Company.

After reading the resume, Cao Dewang, who is in his 50s, said with a straight face, "Go to the boiler shop and pull a cart."

The young man meng, think oneself somehow is famous brand university graduate, go to production workshop stem dirty work, too overqualified.

Cao Dewang read his mind and threw his resume into the trash.

The others had already left the table, but within half a minute the young man decided to stay.

He was assigned to the vertical furnace workshop, where he used a cart every day to pull the waste glass from the workshop to the glass pile and dump it.

A carload of glass weighed a ton or two, a hard job for a thin man, but he never complained.

Because he did not like to talk, others would blame him for doing wrong, and he never defended himself.

In this way, he worked for the company for seven years.

Seven years later, Cao Dewang had a talk with him in his office and asked him three questions:

"Why so much anger and no defense? Graduated from a famous university, students to work in the workshop do not feel wronged? Why didn't you think of leaving?"

The young man said that there would be many grievances, but he would adjust his mentality.

Here's how he looks at his seven years as a handyman:

"First of all, how can you lay a solid foundation if you don't suffer a little in this life? The present setback is for the future success.

Second, only by working hard to do these little things can we understand the company and have affinity with it."

Later, the young man by virtue of efforts to obtain cao Dewang's appreciation, to achieve the position of vice president of Fuyao Group.

His name was Chen Curi, and he was one of Cao Dewang's generals.

When faced with problems at work, some people complain about everything and everyone else, and get stuck in negative emotions.

Some people indulge themselves, passive coping, in the day to day repetitive work, gradually lost competitiveness.

But Curie Chen and Haruko Niazu chose a different path.

No matter the position is not decent, low pay, or colleagues cast blame to exclude, misunderstanding of the leadership, they accept the test of work, overcome mountains, encounter water bridge.

As Zhou Hongyi, founder of Qihoo 360, said:

"You will benefit a lot if you let yourself go and adjust your attitude with a learning attitude."

I have a friend who works as a security officer at the airport, checking passengers for contraband.

Contraband is usually identified by shape and color.

Matches, however, are small and obscure, so the image on the screen is blurry.

On several occasions, passengers carrying matches were not detected, and the security officers involved were docked their wages.

They are resentful, blaming the airport's rules for being too harsh, blaming passengers for harming them.

Unfortunately, this happens to friends, too.

But she faced the criticism of the leadership and blame, not too much pestering.

She began to train herself to put matchboxes in suitcases full of sundries and put them in different positions inside the security check machine for careful observation.

She said to me, "If you don't have enough skills, work on your skills and accept your fate when things go wrong."

On weekdays, encountered unreasonable passengers, she explained patiently.

When she is complained or criticized by the leader for not working properly, she will improve her work.

With such an attitude, she is selected as the outstanding employee of the airport every year.

Romain Rolland once said: only you turn your complaints about the environment into the strength to strive for the better is the guarantee of success.

There is no absolute fairness in the work, the weak complain blindly, gradually sink, the strong introspection, to think to change.

Day after day, the distance between people, so open.
