The loss of loved ones is never an easy thing for anyone in the world. Especially, when you enjoy loved ones when they come around to spend time with you. You never think that something like this could happen to your family, and then one day, it comes up all at once. It was the fall of 2000, and her grandfather was on his way to the hospital; he suffered an aneurysm in his brain that caused him to go into Acoma. Her grandmother only visited the hospital one time during the process.

She could not bear to see her husband in that shape and stated that she would not return to the hospital. A few days later, she refused any help getting back and forth to the bathroom, refused to take her pills that would keep her organs from shutting down, and did not want anyone to do anything for her. She wanted to be with her husband, and they weren't going to be able to be together. Later that night, they received a call that her grandfather had passed away.

She was devastated and did not know how to control her reactions to the news. She stayed up all night crying and thinking about the times she had spent with her grandparents. Early the; next morning, her boss came by her apartment asking her if she was going to work, and she said that she had been up all night because she had lost her grandfather the night before. He took her to her parent's house, and her brother came over; she received a call before her brother got there stating that her grandmother had passed away in her sleep sometime last night. The thought of living without him was too much to bear. She went peacefully, and it was like a storybook fairy tale.

In a way, it was the sweetest thing that you could ever wish to be together. Even though she was sad about the whole thing, she was glad they both went out of this world. It is not often you lose two grandparents eight hours apart from each other. It takes a toll on you mentally and physically because the emotions are running through your mind as you are taking this information into your mind. She wants to share the memories of grandparents; will always live inside of her heart with the pictures of them during different parts of their life.

Grandparents are the ones who spoil you rotten. They let you have anything you want and enjoy the time spent with each other. She remembers a time when they would all go on vacation together. She would spend the summer with her grandparents and learn different things. Her grandfather was into crafting and building birdhouses. It was always a treat to spend time with the ones you love. Most people take advantage of their grandparents but, you have to realize you only get one set of grandparents. Precious moments in your life, and people take them for granted because their only concern is them. No one can replace your parents or grandparents! Life is more than just the memories you make with them. One day you will wake up, and they will not be there to comfort you anymore. It is especially devastating for you when you lose your parents. You have to make the most of the time you spend with your family before leaving this world. Make time for the ones you love; see them; make sure they are okay and doing well. Your family is what makes you the person you are in your life. Loving and caring!

Until next time.
