The London Halal Forum: Advancing "Halal Tayyib for Humanity" Beyond Borders
October 10–11 at Queen Elizabeth II Centre From Certification to Global Investment, Trade, and Innovation Digital Transformation and AI at the Forefront Palestinian Showcase, Turkish Hospitality, and Global Collaboration Across Continents

London is set to become the global hub of the halal economy this week as the second London Halal Forum convenes at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre on October 10 and 11, 2026. Carrying the forward‑looking theme “Halal Tayyib for Humanity,” the two‑day gathering will bring together business leaders, investors, government officials, and industry innovators from across the world, including delegations from Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, other African nations, and the United Kingdom to redefine what the halal sector means and what it can achieve. Moving far beyond traditional food certification, the forum will explore investment vehicles, ethical tourism, supply‑chain innovation, and international trade frameworks that connect economies and uplift communities.
Organising Vision and Global Reach
The event is organised by Halal360, a joint initiative of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development and the Halal Products Development Company, with Anadolu Agency serving as global communications partner. Building on the highly successful inaugural edition, which drew more than 1,500 participants in person and online, featured over 35 international speakers, and hosted exhibition booths representing more than 10 countries, this year’s forum expands both the scope and the ambition. It is no longer simply about verifying compliance; it is about building an integrated, inclusive, and sustainable global economy rooted in ethical principles.
Digital Transformation: AI and the Future of Verification
Technology and artificial intelligence will take centre stage across the agenda, reflecting a sector rapidly modernising how it operates. Discussions will focus on how digital tools are reshaping halal supply‑chain verification, streamlining certification protocols, and enabling transparent, traceable systems that build consumer trust across borders. As markets grow and supply chains stretch across continents, AI offers the ability to monitor processes in real time, reduce administrative delays, and ensure standards are applied consistently not just in principle, but at every stage from production to delivery. The forum will examine how these innovations can be deployed equitably, ensuring smaller producers and emerging economies benefit alongside larger enterprises.
Expanding Horizons: Investment, Trade, and Tourism
The conversations extend well beyond food. Delegates will explore how halal principles are shaping investment vehicles that align ethical values with financial returns, creating opportunities for responsible capital flow across regions. The sector’s role in ethical tourism will also be highlighted, recognising a fast‑growing market where hospitality, cultural respect, and community prosperity go hand in hand. Parallel sessions will map out international trade frameworks, identifying barriers to smoother cross‑border commerce and building shared standards that make market entry clearer, fairer, and more accessible. For nations across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, this is about more than commerce it is about inclusive growth that leaves no one behind.
Cultural Diplomacy, Solidarity, and Celebration
The forum also embraces the human and cultural dimensions of the halal economy. A dedicated Palestine Breakfast will showcase products from Palestinian businesses while highlighting the rich commercial and cultural potential of local culinary traditions combining economic opportunity with solidarity. The programme further includes the Global Business Excellence Gala, organised in partnership with the AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economics, and a special Turkish dinner celebrating the contributions and connections of the Turkish business community. These moments are not merely social; they affirm that trade is built on trust, relationships, and mutual respect, the very heart of the “Halal Tayyib” ideal, which encompasses goodness, purity, and benefit for all.
A Platform for Progress
As delegates gather in London, the message is clear: the halal economy is evolving from a niche compliance framework into a dynamic, multi‑trillion‑dollar global force that touches finance, technology, tourism, trade, and culture. By bringing together decision‑makers from every continent, the London Halal Forum aims to turn shared values into shared action proving that when principles guide practice, prosperity becomes something everyone can share.
