Hi there, I’m Jess! I wear lots of proverbial hats, each one contributing to who I am as a person and as a freelancer. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to integrate each aspect of my life into my work.

Pssssst: Want to get the gist of this story? Scroll to the bottom for 10 quick facts about me!

Before we get too far into this introduction, let’s give credit where credit is due. The Doors did say it best when they sang “Hello, I love you, won’t you tell me your name?” (Pssst: listen to that 1968 classic here.)

That’s exactly how I feel having you here, reading my first story, and hopefully exploring my blog: The Chic Copy Blog. I love you! Thanks for being here!

Now, let’s get down to business. My personal page, Chic Copy, has lots to offer. Here’s what you’ll find on the site: (it wears lots of proverbial hats, too!)

Headquarters for my copywriting business, Chic Copy. Current and potential clients can find my portfolio, services, and inquiry form.

Easy access to my digital shop full of printables for all. “Men and Women. Both. Maui Jess is a hero content designer for all.” (What kind of mom would I be if I didn’t slip a Moana reference into this post?)

The Chic Copy Blog (obviously) where my lifestyle, stream of consciousness, and ‘things I wish I’d known’ will manifest their way into written content.

Chic Copy is a haven for me; a place where I’m more than my circumstances, more than my profession, more than a mom, more than what I chose to eat…you get it.

Don’t worry, this blog is much more than a publicized version of my journal. My goal for The Chic Copy Blog is to share relatable, applicable, practical information with each of you that I wish someone would have shared with me.

You know that expression, “things I never thought I’d say” that typically refers to toddlers and some private bathroom matter? Well here’s a list of things I never thought I’d do.

• Wed at age 20, while still in college, and have two babies by the time I was 23.

• Move to 6 different cities/houses/friendships in 6 years.

• Get divorced before turning 30.

• Go back to school for a Master's.

• Start a business with no resume.

• Carve a new, totally foreign, path toward success, fulfillment, and happiness.

Whether you’re a fellow mama navigating life to the best of her ability, a fellow #bossbabe paving the way as a leader, a fellow student trying to juggle it all, a fellow millennial processing this transition period, or a fellow human equally interested in non-sacrificial personal growth & development… this blog is for you.

Connect with me! Just like The Doors, I love you, won’t you tell me your name? You can find my social links in the “About Me” section of this page or leave a comment below! I’ll holla back girl.

PS – as I’m sure you can tell from the links, music is my love language. If there’s a tune you can’t get enough of, share with me! I’m always looking for a new bop.

This is a pretty thorough summary, but if you'd like more insight as to who I am, what I'm about, and what I can do for you, visit www.chiccopy.com and explore my about page, my portfolio, and of course - my blog!

Here are those 10 quick-gist facts about me I promised you:
