Listen! It’s up to you to make them read your writing.

You and you alone can do it. You have that power.

Before I started doing it myself I thought it would be a major endeavor. But then I started listening to the people who have been doing it for years and I figured I have nothing to lose, why don’t I just give it a shot?

And once I started, it wasn’t very difficult at all. And the eyeballs on my words dramatically increased.

I studied a lot of online writers. I read a lot of their articles. And I went deep into their writing, studying from the articles they publish today up until they first started writing.

Research is a superpower.

The difference in their writing is dramatic. Their writing gets more and more powerful as time goes by and they gain more confidence in their abilities.

Thing is, it’s difficult to become confident if you see no results. You only have a limited amount of intrinsic power and unless you start to see results you’ll quit.

I kept writing because I saw the results I wanted from month no. 2 of online writing.

And I want to help everybody see their results as fast as possible. Because I know what it’s like to try a lot of things and see them fail because no matter how much work you put in, it’s not smart work.

I’ve failed many times.

And although I learned a lot from it, failure hurts like hell.

And if there’s anything I can do to help others not go through the same, I’m happy to do it.

There are 2 major things that all successful online writers do and you should too:

1. It’s all about the beginning

If you don’t begin right, it doesn’t matter what you do next. Because nobody will see.

What’s the first thing that readers see? You guessed it, it’s your title. If you don’t make that snappy you can kiss your views good bye.

Make it boring and nobody will click on it.

Make it clickbait and nobody will read your articles a second time, because you tricked them. If you come up with some majestic title like ‘The One Quality Most Women Want and Few Men Have’ and the solution you give your reader is to grow a beard, you’ll be lucky if the poor reader doesn’t block you. You tricked him and you deserve it.

But what if you made your title sort of clickbait but not quite and you also deliver on your promise? ‘The One Quality Most Women Want and Few Men Have’ and you explain in detail what that quality is, like in this article that I published on July 18th and in 10 days it made almost 75$.

2. It’s all about the beginning no. 2

Readers like it rough.

Once you hit them with your title, it’s time to hit them again. That will knock them unconscious and you can drag them into your reading cave.

Just kidding, please don’t hit anyone with anything else but impactful words that make them want to read you.

Or, in this case, images. We are visual creatures.

Did you ever wonder why Instagram is so successful? because it’s image porn.

That’s right. People scroll through it in a daze, fascinated by the high-quality endless images.

Choose your image well. Choose the ones that are visible from a mile away. Don’t just choose the first one that shows on Unsplash. You’re better than that. Put in the effort and they’ll put in the reads.

If your image is not enticing enough to make you want to lick your screen, don’t use it.

3. It’s all about the beginning no. 3

You have to understand that readers are not there for you.

Readers want to be entertained, learn, or feel. Basically, they are reading you for themselves and that’s the way it should be. So give them what they came for.

Make them feel your writing in the beginning and they’ll stay till the end.

There is one more element in the beginning and that is your intro. Make them feel it. Give them a combination of punch, kick and hit and you’re golden.

Punch them in the ego by addressing them directly and they’ll read you forever. Hit them with a story about your tragic life and they’ll cry with you. Kick it up a notch with a controversial sentence and they’ll read you just to tell you that you suck.

Just give them what they want — the thrill. The dopamine. The feeling that everything is possible, at least in the few minutes it takes them to read your words. Transport them to 7th heaven and back again through fields of fire.

You can do it and you can do it fast.

The moment you start seeing the results of your smart work, you’ll want it more and more. Writing will become your drug, you’ll get your kicks from their kicks, your dopamine from theirs.

Writing is a two-way kind of drug: you get high when you write it and you also get high when they read it.

Don’t waste your time on a low-quality stash, implement these simple rules and you’ll reach the Nirvana of writing in no time and so will your readers.

Happy writing!
