Why I Hate Marketing Gurus
After I finished my first feature film, I had a slight idea of how to market or sell my film; but, since we are in the golden age of the internet, where you can learn anything either by paying on websites like Lynda.com or on Youtube for free, I decided to learn marketing and online marketing.

The Power of Social Media
I'm an aspiring model, and the most common thing I get asked is how I got into it. Now, I'm not yet what I'd call successful, so take everything with a pinch of salt, but I think a lot of people would agree with the things I have to say about the power social media can have on success. Though I haven't reached my peak yet; I'm not Insta Famous and I don't have tons of contracts with big brands. So how do you effectively get new prospects or customers without spending hours in front of your screen and away from your life?

Be Heard in Podcasting
Writing is something that many of us love to do, but your voice can be heard through podcasting. When you write an article, you can also share it with a podcast. Hearing yourself, you might not like the way you sound, but that does not mean that listeners won't like you. All you need to do is make your podcast interesting and keep your listeners listening. As a podcaster, I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. Sometimes you might hear a little pop or click through the microphone, but for the most part, the sound of the podcast is load and clear. All you will need is a good microphone and software like Garage Band that will allow you to podcast and create music.

What Does a Blogger Even Do?
I literally get asked this question every single day. I have been blogging since I was seventeen and in high school, a lot of my mates had no idea what it was that I was doing, I have been explaining what it is that I do for a long time, and people seem to still not understand the term ‘blogger.’ Being a student who is studying fashion journalism, it has actually become much easier to explain what it is that a blogger really is.
