Confusion is like a road block
Information overload happens sometimes. Did I watch too much television? Did I read too many articles online of various topics? Did I inquire too much about various possibilities as I was trying to figure out how to "get a life"? Probably. It's like going to the buffet restaurant. There's so much! Where do I start? What should I try? What will I like?

A Look Back...Sort of...
It is one day before the last day of the year (New Year’s Eve Eve?) I am sitting at home – well, my old home – typing this out on my bed as I recover from my long day out trying to find some distractions in the places where I enjoyed my teen years (I mean the local mall, of course). I have an old guitar, some Duolingo courses and plenty of books to distract me, along with another prompt for another story (over 500 words already written). And my mind is already racing ahead to what 2025 will bring. But let’s not forget the year we are about to lose…

My 2024 Winter Break
Every year after a long fall semester I try to get out to warmer places or places I have my people in. I love traveling with my son, and in previous years when he was a high school student and just started college we went to Brazil, Peru, Paris and last year - to Italy, where we had the most wonderful time together.
