What If We Stopped Calling Adoption Beautiful?
Religious, those who can not conceive on their own, and the list goes on when it comes to where we hear the word adoption thrown around. Among those groups, we also have people who have already adopted for many different reasons. Some are good experiences, some not so great.

A new step
Why are you reading if you aren't ready to be busy with my words? Am done, yea am done for? Everybody have put in the “brackets what's best for you” if I was asked to make a wish I bet, You won't be able to guess, why? Because you're not me, you don't have my eyes nor my soul and my mind. Every feeling, emotions seem so special and magnificent for, if you think otherwise then tell me the reason behind all these reasons. I say so because my eyes seem to be a detective. It doesn't leave anything unturned. It always wants to and not only that she always finds the need to express herself every time. Sometimes I see that as a gift, having in mind that not everyone has such a gift, I sometimes feel awkward when she opens the door without knocking. I have no control over her and I wish to have control. “Hello, how are you doing?” “ Am good, what about you, how are you feeling today?” Time has stopped, the wind lays at her feet, the trees are whistling to the sound of joy mixed with tears. This day comes not so rare, but today felt like the needle in the ocean, this day, Today felt like the reunion of the moon and the sun. We are always entitled to say yes, but then there's a shadow lurking behind our ears reminding us to express ourselves. That's not the issue, to them, to the people that we want to express our feelings to, will they understand or hear the barbarian language? Especially those who have created a box and put us in it. Just like a singer said “ our families, our friends, we are in a box which they have put us” Meaning “ they know for this or that” so when you want to let out that dark crystal which is not clear to them it kinda feels strange. But when you discover new people, you discover parts of you that you were ignorant of. So tell me how do I answer that question? How do I fly among fowl? How can I become an eagle among ducks? If you ask me “what do you want to become, what do you want to be in the future?” I won't be able to answer because I have no idea. I've already been presented with boxes of what they call “sure to make you successful” . The funny part is that none of what I want, I need is In that box. “If you choose from this box you're sure to become successful”. Why? Am In a place where what I wanna be is “ null and void” I want to stop sharing, when I share it feels “useless” . I want to create my own box and I will create it and fill in whatever I know is Best for me. I won't miss talking about fear, the fear of the unknown, a scary feeling but I still want and find the need to take this risk, for by then will I get the opportunity to evolve as a human. I don't need to know what I'll become in the future, for I'll be what I want to become. People say that there's no perfect time to do something, to become something, to achieve something, it starts now and I have already started even though it feels slow. Even though it feels impossible I'll keep pushing till I reach my desired destination and what matters most is living the moment while being on your journey. With the Great help of GOD, I know that his always with me and will always be.

GLOBELOVE MISSIONS
At Globelove Missions, we're driven by a singular purpose: to spread God's unconditional love and transform lives. Our vision is clear: "Empowering a global movement of Christ-followers to transform lives, communities, and nations through God's unconditional love." Our mission is just as bold: "GlobeLove Missions equips, mobilizes, and supports Christians worldwide to proclaim the Gospel, disciple individuals and communities, and demonstrate God's love through compassionate outreach, fostering spiritual growth, unity, and transformation." GlobeLove Missions is a faith-based organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through missions, training, and outreach programs. We believe that every person deserves access to quality healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. Our focus areas include: - Medical missions and healthcare support - Education and vocational training - Community development and economic empowerment - Discipleship and spiritual growth On Friday, July 26th, 2024, our team embarked on a life-changing journey to the rural village of Uvbe-Egbede, driven by anticipation and excitement. Our mission was clear: to bring hope, joy, and love to the community through a comprehensive outreach program. Little did we know that the experience would surpass our wildest expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly received by the Enogie, the traditional ruler of the village, who hosted us with exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. His openness and kindness set the tone for a successful outreach. As we settled in, curious villagers began to trickle in, eager to learn about the events unfolding before them. The next day, our team, in collaboration with the Young Medical Laboratory Scientist Forum (YMLS) team, Edo Branch, led by Sgt. Larry Osazee, conducted free medical tests for the villagers. Over 150 individuals benefited from thorough check-ups, including blood pressure checks, blood glucose testing, malaria screening, and dental care. The expertise and dedication of the YMLS team were invaluable, significantly contributing to the outreach's success. As the medical outreach progressed, we witnessed the profound impact of basic healthcare on the community. Villagers who had endured chronic conditions for years finally received treatment and guidance. The smiles on their faces and tears of gratitude in their eyes spoke volumes about the difference we were making. In addition to medical care, we distributed clothing and food items to the villagers. Watching them select clothing they loved and collect essential food items was truly heartwarming. The atmosphere was electric, filled with gratitude and joy. As the outreach drew to a close, we met with the Enogie, presenting him with a special package and praying with him. His heartfelt words of appreciation and goodwill echoed the sentiment of the entire community. It was a poignant moment, underscoring the power of compassion and faith. Throughout the outreach, we witnessed the faithfulness of God, multiplying our resources and making them sufficient. We experienced divine healing as we prayed for the villagers, and the hand of God was evident in every aspect of the outreach. As we packed up to leave, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. Our team had worked tirelessly to make this outreach a success, and the impact would be felt long after we left the village. The memories of that day would stay with us forever, a testament to the transformative power of service and compassion. We extend our deepest gratitude to Block Malaria Africa Initiative, our supporters, volunteers, and partners, and the Enogie and the people of Uvbe-Egbede for their warm hospitality. Although this was our maiden community outreach, we have set a commendable precedence for future exploits. At GlobeLove Missions, we remain committed to our vision of a better Nigeria, where every individual has access to quality healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. As we look to the future, we invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can: - Support community development initiatives - Provide medical care and health education - Empower individuals through education and economic opportunities Let us continue to spread love, hope, and joy, one community at a time. #GlobeLoveMissions #HealOutreach #Heal2024 #CommunityDevelopment #MedicalOutreach #CompassionInAction
